I couldn't do that for a million dollars. For some reason, during the Kraidgief fight, the blankas keep killing me even when I'm clearly on top. Is it some glitch?

When you're on the highest blankas, make sure you jump to the next one along. Even though they are the same height, the next one will kill you for some reason if it reaches you without you jumping.

the first time i attempted very hard mode I got stuck there because there isnt a save point after mecha birdo so basically I just made a new game, did all the other paths and then finished the upper path last lol

I still mess up 1/2 the time still on that jump though

I already explained the missing spikes, it happens that way on all impossible mode runs, no idea why. As for pause.........wtf are you even talking about?

He's talking about the pause after picking up the red glowing gem thing after every boss, when the "hurray you did it" music is playing... usually u need to make the time escape with a few seconds to go, so you don't die during the pause cause you don't get time to jump..

When you import a video into Movie Maker it automatically splits it into separate segments. There is a list of effects you can add to each segment including double speed and half speed. That's how I did it.

Which is also nice because if you want to leave certain parts at regular speed (like I did) you can add or remove the effect to whatever part of the vid you want.

Thanks for the positive comments guys. I haven't played IWBTG for a while......a guy can only take so much frustration at one time. I always end up coming back to it though, its too fun to quit entirely.

As for the spikes after Mother Brain, its just one of impossible mode's many quirks. Does that every time on impossible, like the claw already being out of the tree at the end and the big chunk of zombies on top of each other before Birdo.

ya i noticed that, for some reason I think it's not just impossible mode but the "first run".. i saw it also on the apple portion on top with lu bu (spelling it right?)

2 apples appear at top if you die the first time around (and on impossible only 1 appears and on first time only 1 appears at top)

I tested it out and even if you quit and then restart from your last save after you died the first time it does that the next time as well because it still counts as your first attempt at that section

Uncanny. I bow before your amazing skills. I think this is the best anyone has ever done on this or any other platforming game in the history of gaming. I certainly do not blame you for getting nervous at the end. If I could make it even half that far, I am sure that my hands would be shaking so badly I would fail even the simplest jump thereafter. You should look into setting this video up as the official standard, the "run to beat," as it were, so all would know the level to be the best.

I've had zombies walking in the air, and that certainly doesn't happen every time. If you had any experience with making games in MMF2 you would know that consistency is nothing you can count on. The games crash and act maliciously at times. So, to answer your question - I don't know, neither do you or anyone else. You want to wear the crown of the guy? Please do - I just made a impossible run for the fun of it and to entertain others. It's not more important to me than that.

By saying this you claim that my video has been edited, which in turn means that I have somehow managed to remove all the save points from it. My Windows movie maker skills do not extend that far, and honestly it would be a lot easier to just put two or more "loops" together so it looks like one run (in which case your movie is as dubious as mine). Let's just agree that the game doesn't behave the same way at all times, at least until someone makes a movie with the original sound still in.

it's IMPROBABLE and STUPIDLY difficult due to constraints on mental concentration. I mean, you could probally clear it piece by piece, but for a full run through is stretching the limits of the human mind :D
