I think a BIG MAJOR part of why seasons 2 and 3 of CNTM were much better was because Jay became the host, and brought a lot of ANTM people with him, but that they moved it to Toronto, rather than B.C. Making it edgier and more fashion-forward.

It is too bad that no French Canadian got into the competition, but they can't select someone just because of that...they have to make the cut. It would be so stereotypical as well to cast one "just because"...maybe next cycle? Also, while its not as "crazy" as ANTM, I think it shows a better maturity level...the U.S networks focus on drama, clashing personalities, anything that will get ratings...we Canadians should be bigger than that :)

Valleygrl, the one's REAL models live in are NOT chic or modern, until you become a very very famous model. This is a bit more realistic about what they are going to be living in when they start their modeling career. That's why I like the other countries' NTMs better, it's so much more realistic.
