Im playing this game right now im near the end, so far I like it but you cant die so it takes away from feel vulerable at all in it, and I hate collecting all the damn light orbs
I play new titles because that's what people want to see reviewed. Most of my favorites are from the 90's (like Doom and RE)... there's only been a few games withing the past 5 years that would even come close to my fave list. The PoP series is one that never caught my eye and never really grabbed me. I'm thinking about going back and trying something like The Sands of Time just because I've heard that this 'wasn't' a PoP game.
Coming from an avid gamer of female kind, this game is fun, but it's a horrible PoP game to start off on. It's absolutely nothing like the originals, other than side running against walls and few other reminders here and there.
It's pretty, and has cute dialog, but it's no Prince of Persia.
If you want to really play a PoP game, try the older ones. They're very, very good.
That's what my bf was saying. He told me I wasn't allowed to lose my PoP virginity to this game, but it was the only one we had in the house so I thought why not... I regret not listening to him. But it does seem to get a bit better later on lol
sands of time was the best... there's a reason they're making that one into a movie and not this one... However, I hope that you are not referring to sands of time as the "original" prince of persia games, cause the original game came out in 1989 or something like that

Yeah imo this is by far the worst PoP game. My fav is warrior within. Even the psp version of warrior within is better and I h8 psp.
BTW does anyone else think the prince in this one sound kinda like Nathan from uncharted????

eh, i've never played prince of persia, not that it doesn't look like a good game, but i've never really wanted to play it.
