a tip for anyone with any hair length using velcro rollers like these: make small sections and lift the hair directly from the root meaning have the roller sit at your root so that it really gives you a lot of lift. if you leave your hair to set for a while, it makes it VERY volumized! =)

At one of my cousin's weddings, instead of doing the unity candle they took communion, and then the groom crushed it and said no man will ever drink from this glass and no woman will ever drink from this glass, symbolizing they would stay true to each other. Then he set it on the ground and crushed it with his foot. Another cousin and groom jumped over a broomstick - i think a Jewish tradition..

p.s. as for hair, i need to get some velcro rollers!!! i'd love to try it out on a day when i don't feel like spending an hour with a round brush. i have TONS of hair and it's pretty long. i'm getting it cut on saturday, unfortunately not enough that it will qualify for the short hair contest ;) i just can't part with it yet. i love my "blair waldorf"-type curls too much, even though you've shown me how much fun short hair can be too!

my cousin did a candy buffet at her wedding, it looked really nice! all candy in her colors, fuschia & black in different sized glass jars with silver monogramed scoopers.. boxes were little chinese takeout type of boxes in black and pink with the bride & grooms names on them.. very cute and neat idea! everyone loves candy and could pick what they wanted! i have so many wedding ideas from seeing friends & fam get married, unfortunately i prob won't get to use them for another 25 years hahahaah!

the root booster is great for lifting roots of all hair types. thicker and longer hair would benefit from the root booster around the scalp and the mousse on the ends

Cross fingers -- the wedding will be at Barboursville Vineyards outside of Charlottesville, VA. I want to have it on October 10 or 17, 2009. The theme is harvest, food, wine, abundance, breaking bread, family. Colors: Red, yellow, orange, midnight or cobalt blue and gold. I should have a wedding blog but I've gotta to blog about Cibu or I won't be able to pay for the wedding! ha! no seriously... you guys are going to ask for the Cibu holiday bags for Christmnas right??? :)
