I almost, ALMOST got the Airbrush foundation brush last Sunday at Sephora (based on your rec), but made myself put it back cos I felt I was at my limit w/ what I was buying. =( So sad - but one day soon I'll end up getting it. Looking forward to your weekend vid too! Take care =)

  • You know what's funny Lisa ?? is that if you did your makeup with all Covergirl or all Bonnebell cosmetics you would still be incredibly beautiful !

    Love Ya Girl !!

  • Thank you, Monika!! I like Cover Girl and BonneBell, too!! :)) Lisa

  • Hi Lisa, I like the items you picked. Nice to know about good curling irons and so forth, it saves us girls from wasting money

  • Hey! I know, I wish I had been warned about the Revlon curling iron I bought before this one--it was terrible!! Thanks!! Lisa

  • wow your hair looks amazing today lisa, love your vids, i always love it when theres a new vid of yours in my perscription box! xxx

  • Thank you very much!! I appreciate that! :)) Lisa

  • Hi Heidi! Thanks for the reply as well. I'll check out your NoNo! hair remover vid although I have to say that epilators don't hurt at all to me,maybe 'cause I've been using mine for like ten years and I'm very used to it already. Thanks anyway :)

  • Hi Lisa! I also have an oily t-zone,but you know how some cleansers leave your skin too tight or a little dry after you wash... I'll check out the products you say you use. Thanks :)

  • I know what you mean, tis one is mild, but still cleanses--I don't like that stripped feeling either--it makes it worse in the morning!! :)) Lisa

  • Great tag! I think i might have to join in on this tag :)

  • That would be great, I tag you!! Thanks, Stefanie!! :)) Lisa

  • Hi Lisa. I'm going to change my razor. makeup looks great. Good luck for Wednesday. I think you said in a previous video that your baby starts school this time. Gosh I remember how that felt. You need to make a plan so after you drop off you have somewhere to go and someone to meet. Don't go somewhere alone it's too miserable. It's tough but you can do it. In England our children still have another week off but I hate it when they go back and twins are Year 5 and my baby Year 3 !!!

  • Hey Lisa! Luckily my little boy is excited to go--my daughter cried every morning of kindergarten--that was the worst!! Hopefully he will do better!! I'll let you guys know on Friday!! Thanks ! Lisa

  • Hey Lisa! Thanks so much for doing my tag :) I've been eyeing those venus razors! I used to use the reg. venus razors, but switched to the shiek intuition (which I love). I really want to try those now! :) I love your "new" look! It's always fun to try new things outside your everyday usuals. I like to do that too every once in a while. Great video!! xoxo

    Michaela

  • Thank you for tagging me!! This was fun--I think you'll like the Venus--it's so quick and easy--I'm spoiled now!! :)) Lisa

  • Hi lisa where did you buy your hot tools curling iron? i just bought one and it is still in the box but thinking yours might be a better option

  • Hey Mary! I got it at Ulta--I really do like it a lot--I had just bought a Revlon before it and it was the worst!! It pulled my hair, tangled up--this one is perfect!! Go get it!! :)) LIsa

  • It was fun to see your favorites :) We all have our must-haves, don't we? I keep getting so many new ideas from watching these videos I should start a notebook, cause they're hard to remember later :/

  • Thank you! I know what you mean--I have so many ideas, not enough time!! When school starts I'll be on a schedule--that helps!! :)) Lisa

  • Love your videos! Please keep up the great work : )

  • Thank you!! I appreciate you watching!! Lisa

  • Haha @ 2:50 when you bend over you can see Will's legs flying through the air. So cute. I ordered the Skinny Beyoch book. Not planning to go vegan really, but I've been making some changes and am ready to make some more. I cried when I took Madi to her first day of preschool. So hard to leave them. Today she had her 1st day at the new school behind our house (where she was supposed to go all along but they didn't have an opening). So far, so good. Fun tag. Glad you did it. XOXO Heidi

  • Hey Heidi!! I know, Will is all over the place!! I thought of you this weekend, I watched QVC & ordered the Wen set, the little bottles to figure out which one I like--what products do you use? I was impressed!! Good luck with Madi--it's tough, I know!! :)) Lisa

  • Oh yay! I hope you like it. It works great as a cleanser/conditioner but it gets a bit expensive, so I just use it as a leave-in. As my last step in the shower, I squeeze the water from my hair and put in two (once in a while three) pumps into my hair. It really cuts the frizz. I forgot it a few days ago and my hair was a frizzed disaster! (If I forget it and try to put it in before mousse, it's too late.) Hope you love it.

  • Oh, and I should mention that I like them all except for the tea tree one, but they all work the same as a leave it. I really don't notice a difference - in fact, I usually mix them all into one bottle when they get low and it still works just as well.

  • Great video girl! I LOVE that lipstick you have on! Glad you scored a real GHD ;)

  • Thanks, Michele! That's the first video I watched of yours--isn't that funny!? Have a great week! Lisa

  • Hello Lisa ; )

  • Hey!! :)) Lisa

  • Had to tell you that I got that book (Skinny B) the other night at BAM and I started reading it the other night. Agree and disagree with parts but I'm an open-minded person that's willing to try different venues. Today started the no sodas for me as well!! Will let you know how this goes! Would have to say that my fingers are my fave tools!!!

  • I'm so glad you got it--I don't agree with a lot of it either, but it is worth reading, and it did motivate me to eat healthier--let me know if I can help you--giving up the caffeine/diet sodas was the hardest part!! Thanks!! Lisa

  • great vid lisa! thanks!

  • Thank you!! Have a great week!! :)) Lisa

  • Lisa, it is at once a difficult task yet an insatiable need for the poet to give name to extraordinary Beauty when he finds it. Your Beauty is a Shakespearean sonnet, without the dark symmetry and echoes of melancholy lining its message. Your Beauty is joy, it's reverance for what frames it, that palpable rhythm of life that is such an essential motif in our daily lives; Beauty, Beauty that is in your magnificent being, Beauty that manifests itself in giving others strength and purpose.

  • Wow~ now THATS a comment! Woot!

  • My goodness, I don't know what to say--thank you so much!! You are talented :)) Lisa

  • Jeesh, you're making the rest of us sound like idiots with our "you look purdy" and "i like ur makeup" comments. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go brush up on my Shakespeare. 8)

  • What shade is your Chanel Lift lumiere? thanks,

  • 40 Beige--the numbers are different than the Vita and Pro lumiere--I'm still using a sample--I'm going to buy it next!! Thanks for watching!! :)) Lisa

  • Lisa, ironing board fabric..they sell it like at Joannes? No kidding or did you cut up an ironing board cover? Thanks

  • Yes, they sell it at JoAnne's by the yard--I actually went and bought a curling iron cover from Vera Bradley and made a pattern from it--I make them for gifts sometimes--pretty easy and great gift!! :)) Lisa

  • nice videoo. i was interested in the ghd.

can u do the most embarassing story tag?

  • Thank you! I will have to think about that--I've done some embarassing things!! Thanks for watching! Lisa

  • how do you register your ghd ?

  • I just went to the GHD website and registered it there--I think I called and spoke with a rep, too--I was so paranoid about getting a fake one!! Thanks for watching!! Lisa

  • Love your hair here!!!!! Great picks!!!!!!

  • Thank you!! :)) Lisa

  • LOL to LovePeaceandLipgloss remark about tutorial on razor! Lisa how does the Mac stippling brush compare to your sephora brush?

  • Hey Vickie!! That crazy Gina!! The Sephora brush is just like a powder brush, but the bristles are taklon--it's fluffier than the 187, and it's much easier to use--I like that it spreads it really thin--it works really well with the Lift Lumiere--I want that next!! Talk soon! Lisa

  • Hey Lisa, you look beautiful as always. Lovely stuff! Your hair looks terrific wavy, it really does! Just curious, how old are your kid(s)?? I have a 20 month old daughter.... yeah, starting to go through the terrible 2's.... :D gotta love it!

    Thanks for the video girl!

    xoxoSara

  • Hey Sara!! My little girl is 9 & my little boy is 5--they're at a fun age-- 20 months is tough--they're all over the place!! Just enjoy it--I'd love to have more, but my hubby & I are too old!! :)) Thanks for the sweet compliments!! Lisa

  • I just noticed in some of your videos your makeup looks somewhat too glowy and it looks a little bit fake but this makeup looks like real skin. Although you always look perfect...I thought I'd just compare some of your other videos. I like this makeup combination so much better than any other you have worn. That's just an opinion though and it's hard because like I said you always look perfect !!

I love your video by the way !!

  • Thanks again!! I love to get your input--that's why we're here, to share!! :)) Lisa

  • Lisa you're very beautiful in this video. The makeup you used is very pretty. I'm near a store with Joe makeup so I'll have to go pick some up now. I never thought of trying that Joe stuff but it looks great on you. It's wonderful that she sent it to you too. I especially like the lipstick color.

Your curly hair makes you look so much younger than the straight hair.

Whatever you're wearing looks cleaner, fresher and younger...not so cakey. It looks more like you're skin.

    Happy Shopping !!

  • Thank you, Monika!! I really like the Joe Fresh lipstick, it's so smooth and creamy I didn't even think about a gloss! Happy shopping to you!! Lisa

  • Btw, you look lovely as always! Love ya! xxG

  • Thank you!! Love U 2! Lisa

  • Lisa, I've never tried that razor, if it's good on the bikini line, maybe you could do a tutorial and show us all. I'd like to make sure it doesn't leave bumps before I go out and buy it. Are you with me ladies??

    xxG

  • Gina, you're so funny--I can't imagine the comments I'd get after that vid--or requests! Do you think there may be some bikini-line fetish people out there!? I'll have to pass on that one!! :)) Lisa

  • If there isn't a fetish yet, you'll sure start one after you do that vid!...you trend setter, you!

  • LOL you are so funny showing your razor, but you know it is a totally must have beauty tool!

I gave that airbrush #55 a try and I didn't like it...perhaps I was using it with the wrong foundation or something. I will have to try again. It just didn't seem dense enough for me, but I am glad it works for you!

  • I know--the razor is not the most glamorous beauty tool, but still a necessity!! I hate that you didn't like the Sephora brush--it isn't really dense, I think that may be a reason I like it--I'm sure someone would swap with you!! Thanks for watching!! :)) Lisa

  • Hi Lisa, you have some great products as your favourites. Thanks for review and your recommendations. Good luck with your kidlets on their first day back at school - hope it goes well. Your makeup, as always, looks lovely. Have a great day! JA :o)

  • Hey my friend!! Thanks for the good luck wishes, we just got back from orientation, & Will got the teacher I requested--I feel MUCH better!! Thanks also for the sweet compliment! Lisa

  • Lisa!! Great video! I instantly ordered the hot tools curling iron after watching this. My revlon one pulls my hair AND winds up too much! I had it with that stupid iron! LOL

  • You won't believe this, but I think I have the same one--I HATE that thing!! You will love this one, it's so much nicer than the other--no pulling your hair!! Love U! Lisa

  • Great video :). You look beautiful as usual! Love the new makeup you're wearing :)

  • Thank you! I thought I would mix it up a little!! I'm wild and crazy, huh?! :)) Thanks again-- Lisa

  • Now I must get that Sephora brush! It looks so nice and now I'm definitely sold! And you look so incredibly gorgeous, as always. Your hair makes you look 26 at most! =)

  • You're TOO kind!! I love you!! :)) The Sephora brush is the best thing I've ever used for foundation, besides my hands!! Thanks again!! Lisa

  • I love hot tools! they are very good irons, we use them at work!

  • I'm so impressed!! I'm going to stick with that brand from now on--hairdryer is next! Thanks! :)) Lisa

  • You look great! You're makeup looks beautiful Lisa!! :)

  • Thank you, Sonia!! :)) Lisa

  • Hey Lisa, you like a Barbie !

  • I love Barbie, thank you!! :)) Lisa

  • what are you wearing on your lips?

your eyeshadow and lip looks amazing on you!!

    beautiful as usual

I would like to try nude lipstick, but it tend to wash me out any recommendation?

    thanks lovely~^^

  • Thank you!! It's the Joe Fresh lipstick in Pink Rose--a good one for me is the Mac Blankey or Creme D Nude--try using a liner like Mac Buerre--that really makes a difference!! :)) Lisa

  • Ciao Lisa,

You have some really great favorites.

You look beautiful today, love your eye make up... it is so pretty, as always.

Wishing you and your family a great day... and your children lots of luck on their first day back to school.

    Hugs & Kisses

    Love

    Shelley

    xXx

  • Hey Shelley!! Thank you, I'm sure the first day of school will go fine--they are actually excited about going back!! Hugs to you! Lisa

  • Good picks! And great tag vid. I have one of those hot tool curling irons too, but in purple, and I think it's really good too. I just need to use it more :) And for the razor, I've been using an epilator for like ten years now, and don't have to shave but once a week, those nice razors are really expensive I have to agree. I've been wanting to ask you this for a while, and I'd like to know what face wash you use b/c your skin looks really fresh and never dry at all. Thanks for sharing this vid

  • Thank you!! I love that curling iron--it's a good one! I use Skinceuticals face wash and toner, but I have an oily t-zone so your might not like that for you--the main thing is that I don't use any matte powders or foundation. Thanks!! :)) Lisa

  • Epilators are great, I love them too. I also like the NoNo! Hair Removal device. I did a video on it, if you're curious. Either way, both methods reduce or eliminate shaving, and that's a good thing! XO Heidi

  • Hi Dear How many times can you shave your legs with the Venus razor before you have to change the razor to a refill? Is this a strange question???? and Hey good to see you on a Monday!

  • Hey Nancy! No, that's not a strange question at all!! I change the blade every 2-3 weeks, and I shave about every other day. I really do like it, I'm spoiled now, I'll never go back to the shaving cream!! :)) Lisa

  • Great Tools!!! You look so pretty today by the way. Your glowing like its your wedding day.

  • You're so sweet!! Thank you!! :)) Lisa

  • Great picks! I had the worst time doing this tag. LOL It was too hard picking 5.

    * big hugs*

  • Hey Deana! I did, too!! I need some more beauty tools to choose from!! :)) Lisa

  • looking lovely as usual ..ive never seen GHD's in white..lol..i know they have leopard print ones..(i want) i cant believe the price of mac brushes i dont think i'll ever be able to afford them its a bit frustrating i see 17 yr olds on YT with them and i wonder how they afford them ,im not going to ask them where they get the money cause thats rude..xx still waiting on chanel bronze univesal coming into stock

  • I know what you mean, I have been collecting the Mac brushes for about 5 years--I get them one at a time!! I ask for them at Christmas, too--great, easy gifts for others to get you!! Lisa

  • Fab video:)

  • Thank you!! :)) Lisa
