why did they 1st call it good morning miss bliss when they used the saved by the bell opening theme ? im a little confused with tha middle school years season.
growing up and watching the reruns i always wondered why the "first season" of Saved By The Bell was so centered on Miss Bliss. Now i know the "first season" to me was really a TOTALLY different series.
I don't think I've ever seen the original "Good Morning Miss Bliss" Intro, not that I'm aware of. I"m more familiar with the SBTB format intro. I've seen the earlier versions but don't like them as much as the newer versions when they go to California (well the script changes). I had no idea that it started as Good Morning Miss Bliss, I always thought it was SBTB. Oh well! Good times!
Whoever made this song, does not know how much it had changed my life to the better! It's all about education and living the best of times, always! Simply Love it! The words are all so meaningful not to mention the best tune for a sitcom; not withstanding silver spoons' theme as well.
@colormeandrew It's not just the music but the singing is almost identical. I'm honestly surprised that Starship didn't file some sort of legal grievance. The songs are extremely similar.
1988. Me a single year old then, 24 years old now. Anyone my age then is now 47. Some in their late 20s then are now around 50 if not a little older. Crazy.
When Good morning miss bliss was first pick up by syndication along with Saved by the bell during the early 90's This opening was scrapped and the show was renamed Saved By The Bell The: Junior High years.
For a one season show, I'm not surprised. Look back on old Cosby Show opening sequences, and compare them to the later ones. As shows grow in popularity, they get bigger budgets.
Besides, didn't this air on Disney? They Never really have epic opening sequences.

@javaretia I agree...and the song from SBTB: The College Years used the same themes and similar lyrics to this song.

Hayley Mills was the only one to continue beyond the Pilot.
After the Pilot episode everyone was recast except for Hayley Mills

@SawajiRisako Its strange that 80s music sounds more crisp and clearer than music from today.

Anyone else hear Starship's - Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now at the beginning? Also, bring back the French version!

@colormeandrew Haha, I thought it sounded familiar!
I feel incredibly nostalgic while seeing this, without ever actually having seen an episode of Good Morning Miss Bliss. Weird.
