  • Why are you informing us of global warming? Let us as a specie die off. We are too stupid to get this anyway.

"Why are you informing us of global warming? Let us as a specie die off. We are too stupid to get this anyway."

if i would be the king of the world..

you would get in the basement for a few months..i mean that. Cause people, i mean the mindset you "prefer" and dare to spread publicly (for oddest reasons..) is THE problem. Same like with the nazis.. (i am german) Not the few "extremists" are.. but the dumb MASSES, that gives a shit "i cant do anything. so.."

    shame, maggot

  • @aerobique So now people who don't believe the global warming apocalypse are nazis? It's sad to hear you're a German, you should be better educated about your own history.

  • @FantasticBob7000

too dumb or just paralyzed as soon the word nazi comes up? One of both..

i said quite clearly something else, and repeat:

"..THE problem. Same like with the nazis.. (i am german) Not the few "extremists" are.. but the dumb MASSES, that gives a shit "i cant do anything. so.."

and, yes i am german- and sometimes even "proud" of.. like right now

  • @aerobique Maybe I misunderstood, sorry if I did.

  • lol

  • Surely Hawaii or Africa are six degrees hotter than the UK?

The 'Is there anyone else here?' scenario is referring to the places South of the Equator... not the whole world. Folks in the North would be fine.

  • @Kiddolinfen09

"The 'Is there anyone else here?' scenario is referring to the places South of the Equator... not the whole world. "

Im sorry, he means the whole world. There are so called "tipping points" triggering positive feedback loops in climate- if they are reached - the massive amounts of methane (~20x "stronger" greenhouse effect than co2) in the permafrost and in the ocean floors begin to melt and gas out. If that happens - ~97% (or so..) of life on earth dies in a short timescale.

  • @aerobique What's this based on, historical data? Hell when the dinosaurs were wiped out more than 3% of life survived and that was a cataclysmic event (which some assholes are suggesting was 'Climate Change'). The carbon dioxide in the atmosphere in the Jurassic period was about 60 times more than is the case now. It tokk 1000s of years for the dinos to die out too, 1000s - that's why some people think it wasn't an asteroid.

You know about Climategate right, and the non-funding of sceptics?

  • @Kiddolinfen09

MORE THAN 95% of climate scientists (and all others in relevant fields) state that humans are the cause of global warming. If we dont act- we have a huge "problem". Since ~150years we increased amount of co2 in the atmosphere for about 40%. Everything else (climategate, "skeptics"..) is propaganda and pointless confusion tactic.

It would only take -1- scientist that prove that AGW theory is wrong ("all about money..") he would get a nobel price at once. End of the story.

  • @aerobique "all about money" - that 1 scientist would never be heard of - just relegated to the backwater sceptic sites. It's a Multi-Trillion dollar business - the New Big Oil - already people are being starved-out for bio-fuel. I don't know, I have many questions that are not being answered, their solutions are stupid, their tactics are psychopathic (like the latest pulled commercial) and there was a lot to Climategate too.

Doesn;t matter - the UN is gonna kill democracy for it.

  • @Kiddolinfen09

"...their solutions are stupid, their tactics are psychopathic ..."

Psychopathic is to deny actual science & selective perception &cherrypick any crap that supports the course we are on-that will lead us all to catastrophic worldwide change that no one wants (besides religious armageddon psychos).

    1.Peak oil

2.Co2 induced Ocean acidification (in~about 50 years we will reach that point)

3.independently from acidification Co2 (greenhouse gas) induced total climate disruption.

  • @aerobique Peak Oil was what I figured was the real agenda actually... that I could easily accept. Problem is, Mass Extinction Events are common to Earth's history... and imo, coincidence and irony are an actual force... so in my 'faith', I reckon if - as you say - these Eco terrorists are the good guys, and they win, and implement all their 'measures'... on the day it starts to work we'll be hit by an asteroid, or Yellowstone will erupt... it's just the way it is.

  • @Kiddolinfen09

"Mass Extinction Events are common to Earth's history..." Indeed not because of one stupid species fear and ignorance and the work of some 'hidden' industrial persuaders that just want continue destructive business.

And seemingly intelligent freaks these days who repeat the alex jones and co induced ideas that they who really try to wake the people up are "eco terrorists". Unbelievable!

"Yellowstone will erupt..." Of course dude. Any other excuses? the creepy "NWO"? or ufos?

  • @aerobique You don't believe in UFOs??!!! : 0

    Dude... seriously.

  • @aerobique Thank-you for trying to get the message out! It is really a shame that so many choose to believe the Professional DENIALIST or even the Conspiracy PIMPS like Alex Jones! I know it has to be really frustrating to all the scientist who have spent decades studying this & trying to warn the public of the impending disaster if we don't act. The problem is we have an extremely religious anti-science public who are suckers for ridiculous conspiracies! I doubt we do what is needed.

  • The concept of shepherding the world's atmosphere - making sure it never raises its temperature by even 1% is LUDICROUS. Absolute playing-God vanity!!! Rightnow there's an Icelandic volcano belching tons of CO2. There's super volcanoes and asteroids and underwater gas bubbles and so many Black Swans that this is CHILDISH.

Still, I'm gonna watch it Aerobique... and try to soak it up. : D

  • @Kiddolinfen09

"Rightnow there's an Icelandic volcano belching tons of CO2. "

*We* dump about 90 million(!) tons(!) of CO2 every 24 hours(!) into the atmosphere... just sayin´

  • @aerobique Look man, I respect your opinion, but I read history and the one outstanding that all history has is that the Government decieves the public. Yesterday they were apologizing about infecting Guatemalans with syphilis, no mention of Tuskegee or MKULtra - we got high ranking military officers talking about UFOs shutting down nukes, the 80's crack epidemic being a CIA operation, coup de'tat and assasination the world over, false flags - I cannot believe anything they endorse.

  • I actually think the more the public is made uncomfortable, the less they trust the Government, the more they read history, the less they trust the Government, the more they watch everything in the news with scepticism... in the end, everything the Government says is true. Obama is now so renowned for his lies that I'm suprised they don't call double-speak, Obamaspeak. The banker bailouts, WMDs, troops with no equipment, depleted uranium, bodyscanners... how can we possible trust them????

  • @Kiddolinfen09

*rolleyes* dude- it is not big goverments or obama etc. who promote urgent action on co2 induced global warming, its environmentalists based on what climate science pray´s since ~25 years. The people link obama to that because he talks a bit about instead of the bush administration that literally blocked any effort and even supresses and hide this important truths from the public. But politicians -as we know- are mostly industrial puppets. Where the campaign money come from.

  • @Kiddolinfen09

"...how can we possible trust them????"

Just listen to reliable science (not tv or alex jones...) and compare the given facts.

    but:

"If MORE THAN 95% of climate scientists state that humans are the cause of global warming but then the few skeptics and deniers are given the same air time and print space as this majority, how can the public be blamed for thinking there is still debate?"

  • @aerobique Personally I think if there's anything to 'ask your children for forgiveness' about it's bringing them into this shit-hole world where Comfort = Death. It was too much for Nature or God or the Universe for humanity to raise its living standards above the Feudal system - we have to be miserable, sterilized, controlled, herded slaves for a few Tycoons and Aristocrats and Tyrants - History boiled down - This planet is a work of pure evil - and it is not endangered.

  • @Kiddolinfen09

"This planet is a work of pure evil - and it is not endangered."

Holy shit im sure you watch too much to alex jones...dude..Do not despair. And dont listen to that nonsense volcanoes.

If you ask me why the "world is doomed" the answer is clear- corporate (legalized amoral) greed. But exactly that is where "your" climate "skepticism" (not skeptic at all..) ideas and sick anti-environment/ anti-science movements are born. Provable. THEY are borgs. And "truthers" blindly follow.

  • @Kiddolinfen09

"I think we understand the mechanisms of CO2 and climate better than we do of what causes lung cancer...In fact, it is fair to say that global warming may - be - the - most - carefully - and fully - studied - scientific - topic - in - human - history."

--- R.Cicerone, President of the National Academy of Sciences

More Co2 =warming was well known (by general electric etc..!) in the 1950´s - And the greenhouse effect of CO2 is known for more than 100years.

  • Rated up and widely shared. I never fly, as I think it is bad for the planet, and my health is not good. In early June, 2010 I saw the planet between France and the USA blanketed in thick wooly unmoving clouds. THE GULF STREAM HAS STOPPED. Bruce Thorpe is visiting here now in France and saw this, too, and weird red clouds and lighting (red) between them over the Gulf of Mexico and a little farther inland. HAARP?

  • @slobomotion Could be the work of HAARP. Nikola Tesla said he could control the weather, cause earthquakes & set off volcanoes. If Tesla said it could be done it can be done. He wanted his ideas used to make war impossible not used to enslave the planet. HAARP could be used to reverse climate change, I hope they listen to Tesla, really listen to him. :\

  • @depro9

"HAARP could be used to reverse climate change.."

no, i dont think so, there are other christal-clear triggers like co2 responsible that even tesla can not just charm away

  • @aerobique 'If we use fuel to get our power, we are living on our capital and exhausting it rapidly. This method is barbarous and wantonly wasteful and will have to be stopped in the interest of coming generations." - Nikola Tesla

No question we have to stop putting CO2 in the air! All I was saying was once we do stop, we could use the ideas of Tesla to fix & cleanse the planet.

  • @depro9 Me, too. People are nuts. There are 40 cubic km of acid sludge in Hungary. 4 dead, 160 burned horribly and the damage has been declared IRREVERSIBLE. 12 villages flooded. Tesla was the man! These fools don't know their you know what from their you know what! Congrats for being a Tesla-head!
