I swear this is the scariest ride I've ever been on. It's just about how high up you already are then you shoot up even more! I'm not normally scared of rides and I don't usually scream on them but on this one I was screaming the whole time. It's an awesome ride though and the view is pretty good :P

My wife and I rode this on our honeymoon 13-1/2 years ago. Our first ride was awesome with the Strip laid out beyond our feet.

We got to ride a second time for free since they needed to balance the load out.

On the second time around we heard a loud "clunk" sound like metal hitting metal. Not a big deal you might think, except we didn't hear that sound 3 minutes before on our 1st ride.

We told the operators what we heard. They gave us an "oh, really" look and quickly turned back to the ride.

it doesnt actually go that high above the building but its the 1000 fut drop over the side of the building that makes it look realy high and thats what gets me thats the reason i could never go on anything like that and if the ride fucked up you would be stuck at the verry top lol

I went on and I was so freakin scared. lol. I was yelling, "OMG" when the ride started going. I yelled it so loud that my other cousins heard it from down below where the Insanity and X-Scream was.

It's a matter of choice and personal preference, but I have found the view at night to be much more spectacular at night. The mountains and the View of the Strip are nice during the day, but Vegas comes to life at night. The time I rode Big Shot I was sick the rest of the day. I couldn't eat, because my stomach was so tight after the ride. I've ridden a lot of roller coasters and amusement park rides, but I have to say..Big Shot tops them all.
