If you look closely, Crosby is actually trying to keep him from falling onto the ice, because Niskanen loses an edge and Crosby catches him, tugs him forward a bit and then pulls him back up. They both try to keep each other from falling over at least once, because if one of them slips and goes down, this fight gets a 3 out of 10 on hockeyfights and looks like crap. Because they stay on their feet, this gets like a 6 or a 7 and turns into an actual fight and not a mediocre draw. Thanks, guys.
