Exactly. Everyone blames the Mexicans that have moved in but WE abandoned the town. And to ballinhall954, Melrose was still heavily Italian until the late 80s/early 90s. I still live here and it's about 19% Italian now. We are still holding on unlike everyone else who ran when they felt threatened by a new group.
