The IR or beam receiver is used for exchanging information between another Palm device. You can see a turtorial on how to do this in our video section, look for a video called How to use the IR port on a Palm Centro. Or you can just look in the related videos section on the right.

By the way you can tap the bluetooth icon in the upper right corner of the screen and it will take you straight to the bluetooth settings. Its hard to do without the stylus unless you are 12 or have nails.

Are you talking about the internet shortcut on the phone application? If so then what you want to do is tap the upper left hand corner on the phone application(press the phone key) then select edit favoirtes pages, there you can edit the favorite buttons you want by tapping which one you want! well when you are in an app and you make a mistake do you have to hit the home button or is there a back button so you dont have to start from the beginning?....or is that what the back button on the keyboard is for?

I would suggest the Centro over The BlackBerry Curve becuase of the price and its NOT touchscreen. With Centro, you get touchscreen and its cheaper! BlackBerry curve is more expensive too. Also that trackball it comes with, its kinda hard to use and I use to have a blackberry but returned it in the first week becuase of the trackball. I would get a Centro. There is a phone application and a home screen. You can only change the backround on the phone application. You can access the home screen by pressing the home button and that backround is not changeable to a picture but you can change the color by changing the color theme! Anymore questions please reply!
