The civil war had nothing to do with slavery. Lincoln ended slavery to hurt the South since they were dependent on slave labor. You can't adopt slavery, end slavery, and then pat yourself on the back. The only reason slavery was stopped is because they were forced to. It had nothing to do with morality.
