@PaynekillerJim Completely agree with you. The guy's a monster! Sure he did good things, but the fact still remains, his head wasn't screwed on straight and he strangled his wife and 7 YEAR OLD SON to death. That's unforgivable.
@KaraokeLoveCat u both are stupids, u can't talk about him like that he was fucked up on his brain after all those diving headbutts from the top rope top of the cage top of the ladder how won't a man damage his brain when he does moves like that. Do u see someone do those moves now? only Christian does that move from the top rope but if he misses the moves he doesn't land on his head but more on his chest
Chris Benoit had suffered severe brain trauma from professional wrestling consistent with 80yr old men with alzheimers, this caused severe behavioural changes which sadly meant the demise of Chris' family
I can see why HHH was crying about his memories of Wrestemania XX. That was a hard night for HHH because on that night, HHH had to job out to one of the vanilla midgets.
Chris Benoit one of the greatest..that vid was sad, and, waht can I say, I show my respect to all his family and as Paul said, There's no more professional, respectful, disciplined. I can not blame you. I can blame anyone in this world I only can express love, grattitude, and I'll see you at the end of the road. I love you pal.
For all those saying WWE needs to honor Chris Benoit you are insane? Let's take a regular Joe working a 9-5 job, he does his job really well then goes off the deep end and murders his wife and kid should his employer then turn around and make him Employee of the Month? That's basically what you're requesting WWE to do. I love a society that places celebrities on a pedestal. and excuses their crimes. But average folks do the same thing, they can rot in hell right?
@brandoman79 FOR SHIT SAKES THE GUY HAD BRAIN DAMAGE...Yes what he did was terrible and awful, but the fact still remains that he was a phenomenal athlete..R.I.P to the beniot family
@pimpcane109 lots of people have Brain damage & do not go round killing people! stop using it as an excuse for him he is a fucking murderer full stop end of
@rab631 I don't give a fuck what you say,Yes what he did was horrible but he was an amazing athlete and me being a true fan of his I'll Miss him R.I.P To the Benoit Family
@pimpcane109 ...sounds great! The WWE should honor him. Im sure everyone in the audience will have such a great time honoring and remembering a man who murdered his family in cold blood. His son was what, 6? Who cares. Just a minor blip on such a great career. The important thing that we must always remember is that Benoit was so great at play fighting. That is so much more important than the lives of two innocent human beings.
@brandoman79 agreed. I say they should air his matches on the On Demand channels and on DVD (with a viewer discretion screen of course), but the HOF? That's asking for way too much.
@FatLadyKiller It could of been someone else, but ever since then the story's are going around that it was Daivari. There was actually an article about Daivari that said he started pissing blood over doing squats with Benoit. He was only 23 at the time so he was young and naive.
@FatLadyKiller Nobody knows for a fact it was Davari, but that's the name that has been widely circulated. It certainly ties in with "young wrestler", and Davari worked extensive angles with Michaels during 2005.
GTFO haters. the academy of "we don't give a fuck" will send you your medals. you've done a great service to the interwebz telling fans of Chris Benoit that he is an asshole who killed his family and deserves to rot in hell. fuck off you have done no good to the world by telling us his sins from 4 and a half years ago.
Despite the people who don't understand, who refuse to attempt to understand, we miss him. As a man, and as a fan, I miss him. He gave everything he had to the business and didn't complain when he didn't get much back. Even when his life was falling apart, with a failing marrige, brain damage, and a parade of funerals for friends and family, he tried to keep it together. I only wish we could've done more. Regardless of his end, everytime I get in the ring I can look up and say thank you. My hero
I choose to remember Chris Benoit the wrestler, one of the best technical wrestlers of all time. I'm not going to sit here and give the same spiel saying it wasn't his fault or it was because of the brain damage. Truth is, none of us know why this happened. I think it's ridiculous how everybody tries to make excuses for him, we weren't there to witness it. So instead of trying to make up my own happy ending, I'm going to give props to the most amazing wrestler i've ever seen. r.i.p Chris
Chris Benoit was a murderer. He killed his wife and he choked his own kid to death. The fact that you people are going "Ohh this and that, RIP" bla bla bla. "He had the brain of an 85 year old" My grandpa is older than that and i can assure you that he would never attempt any form of strangulation on me. Just because you liked him as a wrestler, does that justify his actions? No. People paying respect to this guy smh. This coward should have just taken his own life and let his family be.
Chris Beniot should be remembered for being one as one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. This man devoted 22 years of his life to professional wrestling. Show the man some respect by honoring him for being a great wrestler instead of coming on here and vilifying him for killing his wife and two kids. I'm getting sick and tired of this shit. Come on people, we're wrestling fans. We need to look past past what he did to his wife and two children and remember him for being a great wrestler!
@BlamBlam236 Yes he did, but we respect the wrestler. Not the man outside of the wrestling world. Try to see it from other people's view, you ignorant asshole.
@BlamBlam236 You really don't get it do you? The guy is a fucking asshole who can rot in hell for all I care. Although, I respect his wrestling persona and what he did inside the ring. I see them as two different people.
im not saying what he did was ok(hell im just as disappointed as anyone) but seriously the man was 40+ and gave 22 years of his life to wrestling, trained almost every day so that he'd be remembered for his ability..he gained so much head injuries he had the brain of a 85 year old and because of what he did WWE wont even put him in the hall of fame..tied for most WCW championships with Booker T(won 5 times), third longest heavyweight championshi reigns and many more...I RESPECT HIM...Regardless
I like Chris Benoit, I don't know what the circumstances were! End of the day he did what he did.
The man had money and a way out, regardless of the fact that he was my favorite wrestler, regardless of what his wife might of done to him, he had more of an escape route than most men. It can't be justified, an he should not be giving any respect after taking young lives.
@Uridien SMH. You don't get it. You're not a wrestling fan. What would you rather remember for? A great wrestler or a or a man who murdered his wife and young child?
@lildwayne21 That's your opinion, but let's be brutally honest here. He killed his wife. And his young Son. I'll say it again. He killed his wife. And young Son. He did this. With his own hands. He was scum. How do you kill your FAMILY? But yeah, let's ignore that little speed bump and just focus on how awesome a fake fighter he was.
@Uridien first of all u fucking cunt he had a mental condition that fucked with his mind with the few steroids he did take and the amount of concussions that he did have it turned him insane learn facts before u judge anything
@kkkKID666 Those 'facts' aren't facts. They're theories as to why he did it. The ONLY fact is, we'll never know. Since he left no suicide note. But hey, if that was your sister and nephew your brother in law killed, you'd just shrug it off and say "He's not a murderer, he got hit in the head a lot."
You fucking kidding me? HHH defending his douche bag buddy Sean Michaels with a story of a murderer? If I was that "young wrestler" Id of knocked all of their teeth out and then did a thousand squats on all of there collective faces. Fuck HHH. I know a guy who beat his ass in Nashua twice. Yeah, Nashua, not Greenwich or where ever the fuck he says hes from. Fucking embarrassment to wrestling.
The true is that WWE won't put him in the HOF cause of the way he ended his life and what he did to his family. The only way I can see it happening its that WE (the WWE fans) make our voices heard somehow saying we want him in the HOF, and I agree that he should be in cause he made big money for WWE and made us great fans of the business, not to mention he was one of the best inside the squared circle for the longest time. R.I.P Chris Benoit. LETS MAKE OUR VOICES HEARD SO HE GETS INDUCTED!
Say what you will about Chris's personal life. But professionally, he was one of the very best wrestlers out there at the time. Hell! He was better than the overwhelming majority of wrestlers on the roster at the time.
Although I am conflicted on what really happened to the Benoit Family. I will go with what I do know about Chris Benoit though. Great wrestler with heart.
Chris benoit died lik a bitch...killing ur wife ok killing yourself ok but u killed your kid in my book u a straight bitch fuck ur life pussy..he get's no respect for that
Triple H (Paul Levesque) may not have been the best in ring performer, but he is truly what a professional wrestler should be. Respesct to Flair, Triple H is THAT DAMN GOOD
You know, the double murder suicide was never proven. They did day that benoit was in a position that he couldn't have gotten into himself. He was hung by workout equipment, that of which was impossible to do by himself. We also knew that benoit's wife had a stalker that despised them, lets take this into consideration.
@CDCHBK Regardless of whether or not Benoit did this,I'll always respect what he did in the ring.I'm not naive enough to think he didn't do it,but there must be some way of proving this definitively.
@rockfan2345 wtf is wrong with you I was a big fan of Chris Benoit but after he killed his son and his wife.. thats all I can say man the guys a murderer of two innocent people and he deserves the worst in hell he was a great entertainer but what he did is just unforgivable
@a10hitman dude nothing is wrong with me.. that i know of,.. yeah he should'nt of murdered them but y remeber the bad? i mean yeah thats some deep shit there , truefully i tend to remember the good the fact he was a great wrestler and performer and it gets old that seeing people sayin the same thing
@Oyabungaijin FUCK OFF YOU FUCKING TROLL! EVERY FUCKING VIDEO YOU COME UP WITH SOME BULLSHIT AGAINST BENOIT! YOU ARE A NOBODY! YOU WONT RESPECT WHAT BENOIT DID THEN GET TO FUCK OFF BENOIT VIDEOS YOU IGNORANT LITTLE CUNT!
@cartoonkid1988 What really happened is he killed his wife and kid, no matter how good his in ring ability is, he did it. There's proof, he told people to send the cops. It was him, that its.
@cartoonkid1988 only dumb ass uninformed wwe fans that dont want to hear the truth dont know what really happened. The rest of the world watches the news.
@monkofslayer What the hell is your problem, have some respect, if your not a wwe fan either have some respect or fuck off, yes he murdered his family but he wasn't right in the head, if you can't respect what he did or who he was then fuck and stop commenting on his tribute videos
triple h remembers Chris but Mr McMahon doesn't even give a shit all he cares about is his stupid wwe that got fucked up ever since they changed it to pg
It wasnt his fault everything happened and this brings a tear to my eye beccause everything hhh is saying is amazing, he was a hell of a wrestler and he left too soon, R.I.P chris you were truly a hero! <3
@illusiveUniverse really? u dumbass chris benoit is one of the greatest wrestler in wwe and he awesome and he is hardcore the only thing im not priud about him is taking steriods
making that guy do a 1000 squats just goes to show that benoit was indeed crazy. for further evidence check out what brian kendrick and paul london had to say about him.
@IceCreamAllTheTime no its not, its what the new japan dojo does when they train and chris wrestled in japan, just like mvp is doing now, in njpw they rain real hard thats why he learned how to train like that just like norman smiley, jushin thunder etc.
Forgive me for asking, but who was the wrestler that the son-in-law was referring to that had to do 1000 squats???? My 2 guesses are probably The Miz (back then, of course) and Kenny Dykstra from the Spirit Squad.
"Chris took it upon himself to make that kid do a 1000 squats."
That's not a funny story Hunter, it's fucking moronic. Seriously, the more you here about the wrestling business, the more it comes across as a bunch of men with misplaced egotism and unfulfilled machismo acting like an immature fraternity.
@Sylar377 how's that moronic? he was teaching him a lesson about respect. ever played a sport in high school? when someone does something they're not supposed to be doing, the coaches will always punish you for it by making you do laps, running, burpees, squats, push-ups, etc. chris probably could have kicked this guy's ass or bullied him .
@tastemytaing Something they're not supposed to be doing is all in a person's perspective though. Who was Benoit to take it upon himself to enforce this "punishment". The situation had nothing to do with him, it was between the offender and Shawn Michaels. Even HHH himself said no one was that bothered about the occurrence, but apparently that meant little to Benoit.
If someone disrespects another person, you set them straight. You don't make them do a grueling, demeaning act like squats.
@illuminatiCannibal Theres a video somewhere of Shane Helms (Gregory Helms) and Matt Hardy joking about Benoit's death so I'm guessing it's one of those guys.
@illuminatiCannibal The wrestler HHH is talking about was Daniel Puder. He was a young cocky son of a bitch who not only pulled that stunt of disrespect against Shawn Michaels but also almost intentionally broke Kurt Angle's arm in a match when he wouldn't let Angle out of the keylock. Then in the Royal Rumble in 2005, Benoit, Guerrero and a few others smacked that piece of shit Puder around like the garbage he is.
@DashDarrenger There are some interviews that Puder did talking about it and I'm pretty sure he came out with a sweatshirt called "I made Kurt tap" which we all know is bullshit because Kurt was supposed to win that match and Puder tried to pull that bullshit. And thanks for the information about a keylock. I was always confused about a keylock vs. kimura to be honest.
That 'young wrestler' that he was talking about in this video is a wrestler you might have known by "Daivari" whether it be just "Daivari" or "Khosrow Daivari" or "Shawn Daivari." Or for you TNA fans, Sheik Abdul Bashir. But I feel bad for him, having to do all those squats. At least I'm pretty sure he is the one that disrespected. I remember reading years ago about Daivari doing so many hindu squats with Benoit that he started pissing blood.
@saznrai you're wrong, it's not the steroids that caused the brain damage. It was the chair shots and all the risks he did for the business. I'm not one to condone what he did, it's unthinkable and wrong on so many levels. But it was a lot of WWE's fault, and WCW's fault.
one thing that is really really sad is,that the WWE had planed to make chris benoit the new ECW champion after a Tournament, but than this tragedy started ,that's so sad...
Why the hell is EVERY single video about Chris Benoit filled with responses to other people and so on. SHUT THE HELL UP. I don't care if he suicided. You're a fucking dumbass, trolling on all these videos saying he was crazy. NOBODY CARES. That's his own personal life. His natural ability/talent to wrestle.. that's something to care for. Chris Benoit was amazing. It makes me sad that the WWE just 'erased' him from their history. I don't care if he gets in the WWE HoF. He's in the HoF in my book.
@illusiveUniverse Then you are a fool. A man who performs a bunch of superbly choreographed fake wrestling matches should not be praised, this sort of performance DOES not, absolve him of a CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY. Frankly, anyone who doenst get this insults us real wrestling fans, as the real fans can tell the difference between reality and fiction. In reality, Benoit was a murderous s.o.b, in fiction he was a powerhouse.
@ZipZagginGallifrey omg you are such a troll. On both videos that I've watched you're just sitting there telling people they're idiots for what they believe in. Who cares if they still like Chris in spite of what happened, it's their choice and you're the one who needs to grow up if you're going to sit there and try to push your beliefs on them. I'm definitely not fan of Chris's and never will be but I don't tell people their wrong for admiring his in ring character. Have some tolerance ffs.
Benoit is a four-time world champion: a one-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, one-time World Heavyweight Champion, five-time United States Champion,In addition to championships, Benoit won the 2004 Royal Rumble match.

Say what you will about Chris's personal life. But professionally, he was one of the very best wrestlers out there at the time. Hell! He was better than the overwhelming majority of wrestlers on the roster at the time.

@landrykkb Yes, I know he probably did it, but I'm also saying that its not for sure. And yes, I will always respect Chris.
CDCHBK 1 month ago
You know, the double murder suicide was never proven. They did day that benoit was in a position that he couldn't have gotten into himself. He was hung by workout equipment, that of which was impossible to do by himself. We also knew that benoit's wife had a stalker that despised them, lets take this into consideration.
CDCHBK 1 month ago
@CDCHBK Regardless of whether or not Benoit did this,I'll always respect what he did in the ring.I'm not naive enough to think he didn't do it,but there must be some way of proving this definitively.

@cartoonkid1988 What really happened is he killed his wife and kid, no matter how good his in ring ability is, he did it. There's proof, he told people to send the cops. It was him, that its.

IceCreamAllTheTime 3 months ago
@IceCreamAllTheTime no its not, its what the new japan dojo does when they train and chris wrestled in japan, just like mvp is doing now, in njpw they rain real hard thats why he learned how to train like that just like norman smiley, jushin thunder etc.
MarcothePhoenix 3 months ago
Forgive me for asking, but who was the wrestler that the son-in-law was referring to that had to do 1000 squats???? My 2 guesses are probably The Miz (back then, of course) and Kenny Dykstra from the Spirit Squad.
timmyk1983 3 months ago
"Chris took it upon himself to make that kid do a 1000 squats."
That's not a funny story Hunter, it's fucking moronic. Seriously, the more you here about the wrestling business, the more it comes across as a bunch of men with misplaced egotism and unfulfilled machismo acting like an immature fraternity.
Wrestler's court? What a fucking joke.
Sylar377 3 months ago
@Sylar377 how's that moronic? he was teaching him a lesson about respect. ever played a sport in high school? when someone does something they're not supposed to be doing, the coaches will always punish you for it by making you do laps, running, burpees, squats, push-ups, etc. chris probably could have kicked this guy's ass or bullied him .
tastemytaing 3 months ago
@tastemytaing Something they're not supposed to be doing is all in a person's perspective though. Who was Benoit to take it upon himself to enforce this "punishment". The situation had nothing to do with him, it was between the offender and Shawn Michaels. Even HHH himself said no one was that bothered about the occurrence, but apparently that meant little to Benoit.
If someone disrespects another person, you set them straight. You don't make them do a grueling, demeaning act like squats.

SuperRyder33 2 months ago
@illuminatiCannibal The wrestler HHH is talking about was Daniel Puder. He was a young cocky son of a bitch who not only pulled that stunt of disrespect against Shawn Michaels but also almost intentionally broke Kurt Angle's arm in a match when he wouldn't let Angle out of the keylock. Then in the Royal Rumble in 2005, Benoit, Guerrero and a few others smacked that piece of shit Puder around like the garbage he is.
HBKvsTazMUDM 1 month ago
@HBKvsTazMUDM how do u no? i aint callin u a liar, im just curious.
DashDarrenger 1 month ago

AliceMudgarden89 4 months ago
@saznrai you're wrong, it's not the steroids that caused the brain damage. It was the chair shots and all the risks he did for the business. I'm not one to condone what he did, it's unthinkable and wrong on so many levels. But it was a lot of WWE's fault, and WCW's fault.
AliceMudgarden89 4 months ago
one thing that is really really sad is,that the WWE had planed to make chris benoit the new ECW champion after a Tournament, but than this tragedy started ,that's so sad...

@illusiveUniverse thats right man all the real fans of chris are think this
DerKROATE1 2 months ago
@illusiveUniverse Then you are a fool. A man who performs a bunch of superbly choreographed fake wrestling matches should not be praised, this sort of performance DOES not, absolve him of a CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY. Frankly, anyone who doenst get this insults us real wrestling fans, as the real fans can tell the difference between reality and fiction. In reality, Benoit was a murderous s.o.b, in fiction he was a powerhouse.
ZipZagginGallifrey 2 months ago
@ZipZagginGallifrey omg you are such a troll. On both videos that I've watched you're just sitting there telling people they're idiots for what they believe in. Who cares if they still like Chris in spite of what happened, it's their choice and you're the one who needs to grow up if you're going to sit there and try to push your beliefs on them. I'm definitely not fan of Chris's and never will be but I don't tell people their wrong for admiring his in ring character. Have some tolerance ffs.
