@theclassic93 buy specific is best, can get indoor ones (1:24 and less for indoors), or u can buy 4 wheel drive rc cars and make the tires slipery. takes alot skill, got mine for 30 dollars, while the pro and the ones used in this vid r 300 to 400 dollars

if you just wants an fast all terraingoing rc car that is not a drifting car i can sugest the Thunder Tiger ZT-2 for you, and you also can uppgrade it`s engine,tires and battery for it, maybie also the chassis.

I got mine for AU$250 with basic electronics, when upgrading go for motor and ESC upgrades first.

To buy an RC car I recommend finding a local hobby store as they may have some other options as to car type, just because I recommend it doesn't mean you have to get it, there are some other good cars designed for drift such as the HPI sprint 2 drift series and I have heard the other HPI cars are good as well. Check out a local store and get some advice from them.

I highly recommend it as a starter, especially cos its all plastic to begin with so replacement parts are cheap, then you can move onto more blingy expensive parts :P

first time i ever used it today, and drifting is kinda easy! if you know how to use throttle control an turning etc.. than you'll be able to do it straight away...

and i heard (cause i was goin to get one) you shouldnt get a d-box there a waste of money...and you cant use them in comps..

easyst way to drift is a RD car :) scale is only the size of the car not the drift capbilety's

Btw i know some guys who use a heli gyro for drifting :) you dont have to counter steer that way

Look up Yokomo, HPI, and I think Kyosho, and Tamiya. From there look for their drift kits and you should be able to find retailers online if you can't order directly from the manufacture. I don't recommend ordering direct, they usually cost a good deal more.

There are a few sites and pages where you can make Drift wheels from PVC pipe and such.

Almost any Sedan will do, but it is easier to get a full kit.
