um in Canada here under 19 they wont touch your for dermal's if you want it done by someone that knows what they are doing. Mine took 2 minutes and barely hurt but I got mine at age 21. 2 years of research and deciding where I wanted to get it. Technically in Canada you can sue a piercer cause your a child.

cute/ interesting.. pierced my ear first when I was about 13, then 17 then the left ear when I was 19, tho I havent worn earrings in a cpl years, I'd consider an eyebrow, perhaps lip.. no tongue, no genitals.. found this at random and just wanted to say looks good.. piercings are kool, tattoos aren't bad, fake breasts, etc., are not kool, imo ..

@xxDanielleLxx Mine cost $220, where you go may cost differently. I went the day after my 18th birthday because you need to be atleast 18 in the state of Wisconsin to get it done without consent. It wasn't super sore and bugged me less than any other typical surface piercing i've had, all soreness went away in about a week.

the only problem with micro dermals are when you finally want them out

the weird long metal piece "in" your skin has to be ripped out,

hurts like hell.

@aricande haha as long as it doesn't hurt as much as the time i broke my arm i will enjoy it. You can also get a piercer or a doctor to get a surgical scalpel and make a small slit over the implant foot and it comes out way easier, when the time comes I think I'll take that route.

@il0v3yho02 In my opinion the pain was definately worth it. On a scale of 1 being a poke and 10 being breaking my arm (that's the most pain i've ever experienced) I'd say it would be a five ... feels like your getting pierced basically. And I paid $50 a piece plus a $20 tip so $220

I dont know why you think microdermals are better than surface piercings, they have almost a 100% rejection rate. I cant actually recall someone ever keeping them as long as they would like to have.

@mescalero78 Actually surface piercings have a high rejection rate and microdermals have a very low rejection rate. Mine are still here and I still love them the same. If you are willing to do some reading please do so... they dont allow links on youtube comments anymore so I can't link you to the source...but I'd be more than happy to send you a link via message if you'd like. I made sure to do research before I went through the process.

I don't think you got ripped off. In my area you're lucky to find them at less than 100 a dermal. I got one and it was 105$, but some places offer special deals if you're getting more than one at a time. But it's worth the money if it's done right because like you said it's an investment and it's better to pay more and know you've gotten a clean and professional piercing that will potentially last forever. and yours look great =)

of course you can! the gems you see are just screws. you can order new colored/sized screws and you're good to go! i get my screws from painful pleasures, you can google their website. Screws I got were about 3 bucks a piece, wonderful deal!

The microdermals hurt A LOT because it was a new procedure for the shop and took 30 minutes to get all of them in. Went back to the same shop with a friend and she got 2 like mine and it took like five minutes. It really doesn't hurt much after though =]. I was sore for a week but the pain after they were done they hurt less than a regular healing piercing. They healed in about a month for me too, fast healing time!

Just wanted to say that they're not 100 safe..

I had to remove my own 3 days ago after having it for a year, it started rejecting..

My friend has lost 3..

So they DO reject from time to time..

Wow... I'm planning on getting Microderms, but my friend got Skin divers... How long did the pain last? My friend handles pain very well but when she got skin divers she was screaming... So that kind of put me off; Since Microderms are bigger.. Eek.

The needle going in had a little bit of pain involved, the implant hurt way more. After they were put in, it was noticeable sore when I touched them for about a week. But after that, no pain. Good luck with yours!
