Like dogs or not, I had two Irish setters and they lived happily outside. IF their living happy in a large yard with a nice doghouse was disturbing my neighbors then it was my responsibility not my neighbors. People need to take responsibility for their own choices in life. In addition, the decision of a dog owner keeping a dog in the house or not is up to the owner, but the owner should still respect the neighbors.

If you treated your animal with respect, you would keep him clean, let him sleep in your warm house, and TRAIN him to be domesticated and respectful! Not in sunny California it isnt! It's chained up to a Dog house like most dogs in this country, it's fed and given shots and walked regularly but i don't need to let it leave dog hair (and possibly other things) all over my house to prove to the thing that i love it. It's a something thats cute but not a neccessity.
