This version is miles better than the recorded version. This song is a great exampe of what can happen when McCabe and Ashcroft meet in the middle of a pop song.

Was mainly thinking how good McCabe sounds high up in the mix. Some of his bluesy and screechy guitar bits off of this would sound fantastic on the record.

A real shame it wasn't.

There are no words to describe this band.....The whole thing flows fucking great.....Nick at his best.....I fucking love the way he likes to experiment and discover new sounds....Only he and Jonny Greenwood did that in the 90's.....Astonishing performance!Long live the Verve
