in frontier your either playing on a keyboard or with an xbox 360 (or ps2 pc ) controller

the control scheme is alot different and has a silghtly difficult learning curve especially if u use the keyboard (dont use it trust me....) so the monsters having a slight pause is understandable to some extent, it gives the player time to orient themselves to the monsters position. the controller also doesnt as far as ive seen have a start button so u gotta rely on the esc key so, combineings a bitch.. :3
