  • Hmmm evanescence am I right?

  • @redlines94 Correct! But it wasn't the original soundtrack I used. Youtube decided the original was copyright infringed, so I had to change it!

As for set up, its a standard single speed. The day I shot this it was running very rich (too much fuel, not enough air) to keep the engine lubricated, hence all the smoke. Running too lean (not enough fuel, too much air) can kill the engine pretty quick. I was just testing the setup.

And the location was a huge park in Kings Heath, Birmingham.

  • had my virus rtr a few weeks but now does not run too well. Starts and goes for a bit then bogs down under acceleration and stops. Can anyone help with settings to get it running again. All standard kit. Any help with setting would be fantastic (ie screw mixture fully in then out 5.5 turns, etc.)

  • What Servos did you take?

  • Is the transmission 2speed or 1 speed , I'm thinking of getting it from wheelspin models and putting my hpi 28 engine in it

  • how does the driveline hold up to the hpi .25?

    thnx

  • Hey do u live on oldham edge ?

Because it looks like u filmed it neer the civic centre??

plz reply on this coz i live in oldham aswell and ive got the exact same buggy and would b gud if i ad someone to race with?? Thanks

  • i got same one they never fail and break like those other over priced onces.

  • This buggy never fails to impress/ It's been in the loft for 6 months. I got it all ready this week, got some 12 month old fuel out of the shed, cleaned all the crap out of the drive line and fired up after a couple goes!!! Still souns sweet, but I'm running the HPI .25 engine in it. The engine was already well run in from my olf HPI Savage, I just swapped it over into this thing after the build.

  • how do you "break in" a nitro buggy?

  • dont run it flat out first run....

gosh, i bet its broken now lol,

  • wat are the Ansmann 21 Buggy Engine mount called and were can u get them from ??

  • lol u remind me of my m8 he is always trying to keep his RC clean like picking out leafs and twigs, nice vid

  • so in 6 months of running this buggy the plastic spur gear is still going? I am getting the ansmann virus RTR

  • wie viel kostet der ?

  • bausatz ist 129€ im conrad

Enschuldigund fur schlecht deutsch, ich bin slowenian

  • ca 204 €

  • 5f hardcor

  • i gave it a 4 star because of the crapy song if not for the song 5 star

  • oh my god, i soo agree...but each to their own hey?

  • yer

  • Right, first off, the engine WAS run in. Just very old. It's running a .25 HPI engine, from my old Savage truck. Tried the .28 STS block, but was just mental power in a buggy. Looking at a bit more competition type power, maybe an Orion .21 or something similar.

The buggy has been REALLY strong so far, and nothing has broken in 6 months. I've cursed it to happen now, so you watch..............

  • getting a virus looks good

  • u need to run it in first

  • The Engine: The AR 21 1,9hp, 3,5ccm.

Max Speed: 75+Kmh it can easily go above 90Kmh.

Fuel: Methanol fuel with 16%-25% Nitro.

Qualities: 4wheel drive. Strenghtend with all Iron parts.

Cost: 571 Dollars with starting equipment.

I got it its a really nice ride.

  • what engine

  • great vid am thinking of getting one of these how fast will it go

  • what engine is on it,is it 1/8?

  • 1t's 1/8th scale dunno about engine tho

  • the engin size is a 21

  • Good filming too Ange!

  • Brilliant Neil.....
