Good montage @duchesscloverly --I can't believe it's all from only one film. Perhaps one of those double meaning films directors produced to get around the censors.
For anyone who was wondering, my mum was alive when these movies came out (she's the one who introduced me), and she's said to me that Doris Day and Rock Hudson were very good friends in real life, and that she was there for him until the end.
Well. I heard it somewhere. Anyway, point is, Rock had good friends in good places. I'm glad he's still so loved. :D
I feel bad for Rock. He unfortunately had to live in a time where he didn't feel free to be the person he was. Anytime someone feels forced to supress who they are, I don't think there's a worse punishment than that. R.I.P, Rock.
@colincoolness I agree with you, they aren't even that open minded today, and it was worse back then. I'm what you call Asexual and people don't accept me either-I am open about it though. Rock was a good person,he was one of the greats
@balto4 Sorry, Balto. I'm gay in a very conservative region, so I know what it feels like, too. Luckily, my core group of friends are very accepting, which makes a huge difference. Some members of my family are, but some aren't, which hurts, because I've always been very close with them. I hope Rock had somebody in his corner.
@colincoolness My friends accept,as do my parents,my main problem is extended family, they just think it's phase ect Luckily,i do have a large number of people in my corner, and I hope Rock did as well
Its actually the other way around. The U.S.A. is FAR more homophobic now than it was 30-40 years ago,Dummy.(No offense, but really!)You're just too young to remember.
@iggypopbowie77 You sure showed me, random person I'll never meet in real life. Seriously, dude. How insecure do you have to be to attack someone you don't even know on youtube? Get something else going on in your life.
@iggypopbowie77 Yep, you called me dummy without any provocation to do so. Most sane, rational people would call that an attack. But if in your mind it's not, there's not really a lot I can do about that. Knock yourself out under that delusion. I'm not perfectly secure at all times, but fighting back when someone attacks you, like you did, is a pretty normal reaction. That's all I've done. I seriously do hope you find a more constructive use of your time, though. Peace. :-)
@iggypopbowie77 Listen, I didnt know that either!! I thought today's standards are better, what with all the gay rights artists and everything, more and more coming out of the closet, etc.. How is it more homophobic today???
Had to stop watching 30 seconds into it....Music made me nauseous.

I feel so sorry for Rock Hudson. What a terrible spirit that got on him. :(

@watayapupuya This was a while ago, it's not important now. At least not about Rock Hudson. (:
