What if he did actually catch the legit footage of the activity centering around the pantry, then, when he saw how popular it was becoming he created the mabel concept and kept it going. @Eldeecue It is about an inch to 2 inches of space. There is not way a toddler could hide there. Besides, why would people go out of their way to create more rooms to fake a video. There are much more ways to make a believable fake ghost.
I spent the better part of the week around Halloween searching for ghost footage on YouTube to show my friends and the footage of the Pantry Ghost is by far the most frightening. And after watching this video it makes it even more so! No possible way it could be fake. There's similar footage out there, but this is most convincing. I truely believe in this one.

There doesn't need to be a trap door, a small child could easily fit in that pantry then duck out of the way. That and computer graphics makes this easy to fake. For those of you who believed you saw the girl below the shelf, check out the other videos. You see it with most other videos of spiritual encounters. Check out the light orbs that float around; they look like giant specs of dust. You cannot see them with the naked eye, but you CAN see them on camera. You see them in Ghost Hunters, etc. Spirits have the ability to show up whichever way they choose. You normally don't see them unless there's a person there. Do some searching. You'd be amazed.

It really aggravates me that people STILL believe the pantry ghost to be a fake! What more proof do they need? As for thecleanpig... it was to try and prove that ghosts exist! The videos brought attention to M. Night Shayamalan who is filming the real deal in that house. The house sold for way more than the actual value, due to the hauntings. Why spend money on a hoax?

Okay to those of you that need a little help explaining this little trick ill give you the trick. The girl you would see in there actually hides in the lower part of the pantry as you saw there is a good amount of space at the bottom for a child to hide. When being recorded the camera never shows the bottom of the pantry unless of course if it was blocked first to let the child out.

After watching this video, and estimating the area of where a trap door can even fit in like most of you believe, there is no way to debunk this. @Eldeecue It is about an inch to 2 inches of space. There is not way a toddler could hide there. Besides, why would people go out of their way to create more rooms to fake a video. There are much more ways to make a believable fake ghost.

I spent the better part of the week around Halloween searching for ghost footage on YouTube to show my friends and the footage of the Pantry Ghost is by far the most frightening. And after watching this video it makes it even more so! No possible way it could be fake. There's similar footage out there, but this is most convincing. I truely believe in this one.

There doesn't need to be a trap door, a small child could easily fit in that pantry then duck out of the way. That and computer graphics makes this easy to fake. Most evidence points to ghosts being hallucinations brought on by electromagnetic energy. Also, they would put it on youtube for the same reason anyone does, attention.

as for the outside wall they say is the back wall of the pantry doesnt prove anything there can quite easily be a huge space between the pantry and the outer wall.! unless the pantry is being shot from an angry making it appear that it is the back wall of the house when in fact it is really could be inside the house

They say it is a solid shelf unit! yet as what has been said, the shelves may push back to reveal a gap where the girl hides between. between the outer wall and behind the shelves them self. They don't show that you can push the shelves back. All they show is that the wood is solid.

For those of you who believed you saw the girl below the shelf, check out the other videos. You see it with most other videos of spiritual encounters. Check out the light orbs that float around; they look like giant specs of dust. You cannot see them with the naked eye, but you CAN see them on camera. You see them in Ghost Hunters, etc. Spirits have the ability to show up whichever way they choose. You normally don't see them unless there's a person there. Do some searching. You'd be amazed.

It's in California. I can't remember which city, but you can catch the location in a few of the videos done by the original guy. It really aggravates me that people STILL believe the pantry ghost to be a fake! What more proof do they need? As for thecleanpig... it was to try and prove that ghosts exist! The videos brought attention to M. Night Shayamalan who is filming the real deal in that house. The house sold for way more than the actual value, due to the hauntings. Why spend money on a hoax?

Exactly! Very good point.
Unfortunately no amount of evidence is ever going to be good enough for skeptics even IF this mable ghost does exist. And unfortunately the only evidence to prove if,, IF that house is haunted is to go their in person and receive a personal witness. The downside is, only that person will know if its true or not.
I know I had my own personal experiences with ghosts and things, but people have to choose to believe or not, without proof.

I think that space in the pantry, when the door is closed, is too narrow for even a little girl to get on her knees and go hide on the lower part. She doesen't fit in there sideways and other way would be too slow.

Okay to those of you that need a little help explaining this little trick ill give you the trick. The girl you would see in there actually hides in the lower part of the pantry as you saw there is a good amount of space at the bottom for a child to hide. When being recorded the camera never shows the bottom of the pantry unless of course if it was blocked first to let the child out.

Ambient dust can create orbs. That's why orbs aren't accepted as proof even by hard core ghost hunters.

The person who cries fake is the one who has adopted the responsibility of proving it.
If it's fake, prove it. That's the whole purpose of debunking.
If you cannot prove that this is a "manufactured" event then that means there is evidence left over.
Until that evidence can be debunked it has to be accepted as what it appears to be.

You only need to demonstrate an alternative explanation that achieves the same effect as the original, to cast doubt on the supernatural cause.
Now this doesn't say whether the original is "real" or not, but if you have the choice between simple trickery (and how many magic tricks are there that produce amazing effects) and something which proports to show something that contradicts the known laws of physics, which choice are you obligated to accept? And the video is not convincing at all.

I usually ghost hunt, and debunk. I never believed in ghosts until I crossed one in the famous Waverly Hills. It changed my friking life. After watching this video, and estimating the area of where a trap door can even fit in like most of you believe, there is no way to debunk this. The back is closed off, there is no travel or space distance from the fireplace to the pantry, or the other side (that at the time was closed off by a fridge). Any ways you look at it, even if it's doubtful,it's real
