Aww! So glad to find this... I was there in my Baylor line jersey on the field, that was my freshman year! I got near the goal and got pushed away by a cop. Then after it fell I was in the group that helped carry it back to campus. Thanks so much for posting!

Um, actually if you knew anything you'd know during Grant Teaff's era Texas never beat Baylor in Waco. That's over a 20 year period. Baylor also gave UT it's worst loss in Austin ever 50-7 in 1989.

When has A&M been ranked in the top 10 that I last recall? Baylor had several years under Grant Teaff where they were in the top eschelon of NCAA teams. Do your research before you want to talk trash. Oh, and please don't try and claim you ran out of time in 2004, because that was won in OT. When was the last Aggie national championship? And was it a true national championship? And strangley UT seems to also be ahead of you in the rankings every year...
