The Holy Ghost draws souls to Christ. Not beats of music. Not worldly clothes. The problem is that people in the church don't have the Holy Ghost anymore and we substitute and make excuses. The message is confusing to believers it is okay to continue to take partake in being part way. Ex. Sisqo left the church to pursue a career in R&B and lyricsdon't glorify God. So what did they agree upon. Everything that prospers is not blessed. they make some greats songs that they do, but then some times we as people forget the spiritual side and do us.

Do you honestly think the people out there, literally DYING in their despair and hopelessness are going to care so much about that as they will that someone actually cared??
I don't remember any of these people claiming to be God. He knew that this side of heaven, none of us was capable of his perfection. He takes us -- and uses us -- in our broken state. He doesn't wait till' we graduate. If He did, there would be far less people ministered to.

The Holy Ghost draws souls to Christ. Not beats of music. Not worldly clothes. The problem is that people in the church don't have the Holy Ghost anymore and we substitute and make excuses. This song is not about drawing souls. It's catchy and upbeat in order to make MONEY, not draw souls. Music is not needed to reach our youth.

I understand your thoughts, but the only person or spirit that draws people to Christ is the Holy Spirit, not music, not clothes, not good preaching. The Holy Ghost allows for a sinner to feel conviction of his sin. This music is to make money from the mainstream and not to make them feel guilty of their sin. Otherwise, they wouldnt buy it.

I have met people who have been SAVED because of a song they heard. God rewards FAITH above all else -- and following the Great Commission. I don't recall him saying "make sure you're dressed appropriately".
Jesus himself criticized the 'doctors of the law". There is NO room for legalism in evangelism. God changes all of us on HIS schedule -- not yours -- and as HE sees fit -- not you.
What matters is that people are dying out there and need a voice of hope and faith!

If you remember, he chose disciples from all walks of life. He didn't choose them when they were all cleaned up and perfect. He chose them, you, and me, AS WE ARE. He didn't require that the disciples be all fixed before they went out healing and binding up the broken hearted. Do you honestly think the people out there, literally DYING in their despair and hopelessness are going to care so much about that as they will that someone actually cared??

I don't remember any of these people claiming to be God. He knew that this side of heaven, none of us was capable of his perfection. He takes us -- and uses us -- in our broken state. He doesn't wait till' we graduate. If He did, there would be far less people ministered to.
I think it's comforting for people to see "non-perfect" people in ministry. Otherwise, Christians can be very intimidating. Let them be imperfect -- like the both of us. They're helping to save folks out there!

I really like this song and the messege behind it but I could have done without the club scene in the vid. I woulda liked it better outside or over seas even a cruise ship... but it's cool I don't have to see the vid everytime I play the song.
