I'm 55 years old and I can actually do these crunches thanks to the Bender Ball. I was very sore after the first time, but am getting stronger. I just do 20 min a day, and it feels like it's working!!! It's like the dvd says, "you want to be challenged but not uncomfortable". On another note, my husband has a bad back and just uses it in the small of his back when he watches TV on the sofa, and his pain is relieved.
