  • Nice lights just got my complete conversion kit for my grand am 15000k chek them out on my channel

  • k guys i have a question i have regular head lamps and if i get the 6000k would it blind people, if it does and i have a projector whats a good one for it the 8000k? i drive 03 corolla

  • @TopGamingKingz 6000k would still be a good choice either way, Ive had the same 6000k in 3 of my vehicles and never had a problem (so i think) with blinding other drivers, if you drive a regular car or just simple aim your headlamps downward a bit, you wont be disturbing other drivers.

  • @TopGamingKingz yes it will blind people if you don;t use HID projectors with the HIDs. Just do an HID retrofit and have great light. Took me 2 days to open my lights up & install projectors & have sweet light out put with a clean cut-off line.

  • 6000K FTW

  • Nasty glare on those

  • @topsecret666 yea because their not using projector headlights

  • Hey everyone I just installed sum 8000k hid on my em2 check them out n tell me what u think of em

  • I've had my 8000k bulbs for about two months. Never been flashed, never been pulled over I also have projector housing...

  • I preffer 6000K.

  • very good writeup description, those were the answers i was after, thank you!

  • Cops around Florida don't make a big deal about HIDs in the standard reflective headlights, as long as you remember to realign the headlights. Because the HIDs are brighter than Halogen, they have to be angled down slightly to account for the difference in brightness, so that you're not blinding the oncoming traffic

  • @aspiringartist89 You are confusing BRIGHTNESS or luminous intensity for the way the headlight projects light from it. Reflectors are designed for the shape of a 55w halogen bulb so they project the light correctly when used with the right lenses. If you put a HID bulb in, the focus changes and light scatters about, that is why they dazzle people. By lowering the light unit, you end up with LESS light than a 55w bulb on the road ahead. The brightness is not proportional to focal point! LEARN!

  • Yea people should not use HIDs unless they have projection lamps...

  • @icemanken123 why not

  • @icemanken123 Actually not necessarily because here my state is allow to have HID w/ out projector housing. Maybe some states is illegal some isn't. But here it not allow to have more then 12k HID lights I am currently owner of 10k HID lights, you can check out my video. I like it with out projector housing because I like seeing people get pissed off. :)

  • @icemanken123 not necessarily true.

  • @icemanken123

But I thought the whole point of for example, a H7R was to allow HiD bulbs in a non-projector headlamp...?

  • @icemanken123 well the sun puts out 6k lights so anything lower than 6k is perfect for the dark anything more is just for looks

  • @icemanken123 get of the sack just cuz u have a lil coupe

  • hid's are made for having projector lights. they emit the light better, without it they look like this. try to find projector lights for your vehicles, trust me they will look alot better and you would see the color more vivid.

  • So I have a 96 Honda civic and it only uses 1 bulb high and low on each headlamp. What type of hid kit would I need to get for high and low beam on each bulb?

  • @D16z6king Bi Xenon kit.

  • the 6000k is enough for a vehicles. what to do with 8000k????? u can't make night to become day with this 10000k. so you are wasting your money......use your mind a little

  • @ashley260590 8000k is not brighter than 6000k. It is a color rating. 8000 is more blue and the higher the number the more blue the light is.

  • @blasko229 actually, the higher the number, the less output of light there is. they turn green when you get into the 30,000k's

  • @boostedwolfie Now that I think about it 5000-6000 (white) would appear the brightest since it is not filtered with a color. Lower or higher would be slightly dimmer.

  • @blasko229 Actually the higher the number the more purple a light (yes it first goes to blue and then to purple at 12000k) is but close enough :)

  • the 6000k is enough for a vehicles. what to do with 10000k????? u can't make night to become day with this 10000k. so you are wasting your money......use your mind a little

  • Ebay has Xentec hid kit which is what i use and i like them. i have 10k, 8k and 6k. i say the 8 is best and the 10 is too blue. the 8 is legal here

  • jus got the h.i.d.8000k 100bux!!!! best 100bux i ever spent

  • 6000K will be brighter than 8000K ...SO every time you increase #K its gets dull.

  • did you get the canceller?...i have a 2000 merc cougar and i dont think i need it..idk tho

  • Does this kit light up the road better than the halogens

  • @santosxchris they really do make a difference like i said in the video info the camera make's them looking weird, there more of a bright white....and it makes everything more vivid on the road.

  • @trailertrash20010 Aww okay, I just purchased my 9006 Hid Kit with 6000k from the same website. Does the 6000k has a little bit of blue and white, or is the 6000k completely white?

  • @santosxchris for the most part there completely bright white, but can sometimes see blue if you catch it on the right angle, and if you have them on during the day they will look blue....

  • @trailertrash20010 Thank you so much for you information. My last question is compared to the amount of time you had this kit, has it been reliable. I am worried that i paid too little for this hid hit.

  • @santosxchris ive had it for over 2 months now with no problems, did you get the relay harness?

i paid like $87.57 for mine

  • @trailertrash20010 are the 8000K's legal in the US (Texas)??

  • @bbilbo897 dont know about texas, but in michigan im sure they are illegal due to the fact that there aftermarket lighting and there way to bright for on coming traffic, alot of people have HID's installed around here, and there all done wrong (they use the standard reflective headlight that supposed to be for a halogen bulb)

  • @trailertrash20010 In michigan they're only illegal 10,000k and up. I've run 8000k in my truck for over a year now and never gotten pulled over.

  • @theTank77 ive been running 6k in my vehicle for years now in michigan, no problems.

  • @trailertrash20010 Focal point is altered so light scatters, you're correct. Here in the UK it is illegal to fit HIDs in a reflector, it also invalidates your car insurance for whch you are given 6 points on your licence. 12 to be banned, speeding is 3 to 5 points too!. Idiots putting HIDs in reflectors are the type that buy a K&N nt knowing it reduces BHP in a few months! The market for HIDs tends to be the lower intelligence portion!

Clever sales people make millions from boy racers!
