YOU SHIFT WITH YOU LEFT HAND . THIS ARRANGEMENT SEEMS ODD AT FIRST BUT

REMEMBER , THE DOOR ON ISETTAS IN IN THE FRONT .

WITH THE WALL MOUNTED SHIFTER , IT ISN'T IN THE WAY WHEN YOU GET IN AND OUT .

THE CAR WAS A COUPE ORIGINALLY . IT HAD NO DRIVE TRAIN , SIDE OR BACK GLASS WHEN I GOT IT .

THIS WAS ON THE DRAWING BOARD FOR A LOOOONG TIME BUT IT IS NICE TO SEE WHAT YOU

CAN DO WITH A TRUE PIECE OF JUNK .

THE CAR HAS A VERY NICELY DON STAYFAST CANVAS TOP ON IT NOW .

cool we have one Isetta here in Australia,we got it from Uruguay, was one of the 7 isettas went to Chile from Uruguay,unfortunly no many left, we were very lucky to get this one we love it.

IT IS A 1962 700 SPORT ENGINE & THE CAR CAN EXCEED THE 80mph ON THE SPEEDO . THIS ISETTA IS MID ENGINE WITH SHAFT DRIVE ! IT IS PROBABLY THE PUREST MIX OF BMW CAR & BIKE EVER BUILT .
