The old Xmen had some great short stories,which consisted only one episode, well kind of personal flashbakcs, actually. And the major plots are even more awesome. Someone remember what happened to Omega Red... I think the last episode of him was him sinking inside a Soviet Sub... And the worst episode was the Xmas with that little green morlock getting sick... what a lame episode.

This led to giving Rogue the heroes super strength and ability to fly. This attack left Ms Marvel in a Coma like state. Rogue unknowingly also absorbed her mind permanently too.

However, if she could 100% suppress all the thoughts of the people she drains, she could become a God, by 100% draining every superhero and gaining permanent possession of all their abilities.

The movie ended up being just that a one shot cartoon movie featuring a new number of the old X-Men with Kitty Pride (Shadowcat) as the focus of the story, with Magneto as the Major villian.

@Ragensu64 She was one of the strongest. Namor, Juggernaut, and Colossus were stronger. I do not think the other "strong" characters like M, Thunderbird, Warpath, etc are in the same power class.
in the new comic book, rogue has to fight ms marvel again after rogue gains the ability to control her powers and she become basically the best xmen, but she almost looses which is lame, i think pulse? or something has to use her astral form to beat ms. marvel.
In the Episode Mystic lets Rogue drain her powers and memory so she can see that Mystic is her mother, Mystic used Rogue to take out Ms Marvel.
Rogue was able to do more then just steal her powers, the stole them permanently. With her powers Rogue also took Ms. Marvels mind and is haunted by Ms Marvel like a inner demon trying to take over.
In the End Ms. Marvel and Rogue fight inside Rogues mind for control. The End here hints that Rogue touching her transfered her mind back to her body.

I luv Ms. Marvel so much because I know how it feels to lose everything in your life. Recently she's been getting the rep. she's deserved 4 a long time. My mom introduced me to her character back in 93 and I've been hooked every since. Plus, WW and MM would fight 2 a stand still being that their strength nearly equals and are both supreme fighters. MM as Binary would prob. destroy WW, unless she has sum assistance from her Godly distant relatives.

It's probably cause Gambit can't get her that makes him want her, that or love. But he kissed rogue before and didn't die, he was pretty hurt but not dead.

Why can't the x-men movies portray rogue like this? I mean, sure she was all confused and vulnerable and naive(they all were) but she turned into a kick ass powerhouse. In the movies she's a whiny little side liner. The orginal would have her flyin and bashing things left and right

No, just MUCH harder to break than a normal person's body, she's kind of like Luke Cage, lightly armored, but tough enough to make up for it, her skin, bones, and muscles have been strengthened to the point where she can resist a LOT of physical attack.

i guess they didnt want rouge to be the main hero of the movie since she of course has the upper hand since she can absorb others power and memories (which is kinda cool) and that she kicks major ass, it would definitely overshadow cyclops and wolverine

yeah, agreed on that, im wondering why wolverine gets all the spot light in all three parts of the movie, they made cyclops a complete noob, i personally think that wolverine is no match for rouge if they would have given her super strength and the ability to fly in the film though, but I'm still gonna watch xmen:wolverine's origin, and see if there's something new he can do aside from he's (boring) claws (wished he has other abilities other than healing and martial arts)

Thank you for putting this up! This IS Rogue for me, not the x-men evolution version or the Anna Paquin in the films!! In this animated series they kept true to how she looked in the comics and how she would act. And the voice of Lenore Zann as Rogue is spot on. :D
I haven't seen this ep, didn;t really get into comics properly until I was about 22 but i'm confused, what's going on? Is Carol a Skrull or something? Cause i can't help noticing she's evil, or is it all some weird dream of Rogue's? :O or some old scholl prelude to Secret Invasion XD
When Rogue was young Mistyque trainned her to defeat Ms Marvel. Rogue grabs her but she can't let go for some reason, not only did Rogue steal her Super strength and power to fly permanently but she had her mind as well.
So Ms Marvel would haunt her for years wanting her life back. Professor X managed to silence her but with him missing (Savage Lands) She made herself heard. She's Rogues worst nightmares so she looks monster like.
Eventually Rogue starts acting crazy seeing her everywhere.
This cartoon was the best. I like more realistic proportions anyway. Nowadays every cartoon has that Batman Animated Series look(big head, eyes, skinny body, tiny nose and mouth), fakish anime look.
this episode was wonderful! after this one I never see any more episodes about X-men, I think this is the true Rouge, not the actual Rouge in wolverine and the X-men, I hope Rouge will be fly some day in wolverine and the X-men

In the Episode Mystic lets Rogue drain her powers and memory so she can see that Mystic is her mother, Mystic used Rogue to take out Ms Marvel.
Rogue was able to do more then just steal her powers, the stole them permanently. With her powers Rogue also took Ms. Marvels mind and is haunted by Ms Marvel like a inner demon trying to take over.
In the End Ms. Marvel and Rogue fight inside Rogues mind for control. The End here hints that Rogue touching her transfered her mind back to her body.

I luv Ms. Marvel so much because I know how it feels to lose everything in your life. Recently she's been getting the rep. she's deserved 4 a long time. My mom introduced me to her character back in 93 and I've been hooked every since. Plus, WW and MM would fight 2 a stand still being that their strength nearly equals and are both supreme fighters. MM as Binary would prob. destroy WW, unless she has sum assistance from her Godly distant relatives.

It's probably cause Gambit can't get her that makes him want her, that or love. But he kissed rogue before and didn't die, he was pretty hurt but not dead.
Remember that Episode where Morph was sneaking around the X-men place disguising himself as members and tricks gambit to think Rogue can control it so he'd go kiss her?

Why can't the x-men movies portray rogue like this? I mean, sure she was all confused and vulnerable and naive(they all were) but she turned into a kick ass powerhouse. In the movies she's a whiny little side liner. The orginal would have her flyin and bashing things left and right

No, just MUCH harder to break than a normal person's body, she's kind of like Luke Cage, lightly armored, but tough enough to make up for it, her skin, bones, and muscles have been strengthened to the point where she can resist a LOT of physical attack.

Ms Marvel wasn't killed,, due to the long time of exposure of rouge's touch, she eventually came into coma since then,i think rouge is stronger since she also has super strength and can fly and can has the ability to absorb powers

yeah, agreed on that, im wondering why wolverine gets all the spot light in all three parts of the movie, they made cyclops a complete noob, i personally think that wolverine is no match for rouge if they would have given her super strength and the ability to fly in the film though, but I'm still gonna watch xmen:wolverine's origin, and see if there's something new he can do aside from he's (boring) claws (wished he has other abilities other than healing and martial arts)

When Rogue was young Mistyque trainned her to defeat Ms Marvel. Rogue grabs her but she can't let go for some reason, not only did Rogue steal her Super strength and power to fly permanently but she had her mind as well.
So Ms Marvel would haunt her for years wanting her life back. Professor X managed to silence her but with him missing (Savage Lands) She made herself heard. She's Rogues worst nightmares so she looks monster like.
Eventually Rogue starts acting crazy seeing her everywhere.

if you remember Rogue took some of Magneto's power away from him.. maybe somehow it's dormant in her system & that how she can fly.
As for the super strength & near invulnerability.. they could always have that happen & be gained in "X4".. MAYBE...
