There are SO many reasons gmod cant/wont/shouldnt/IS NOT going on ps3 or xbox.

1.better graphics on pc

2.gmod runs on community content, this can only be achieved via the internet, on pc.

3.gmod needs a lot of buttons, which you wont find on a xbox or ps3 controller.

4.Lua coding, it exists for a reason, id like to see you try and type out a 5 line code with your on screen keyboard thing.

5.updates, unless you want to pay for everything.

6.extra content(mounting)

@blankrofl gmod is just like haflife, it has basically the same controls we have keyboards on controllers, VERY good graphics, IT is possible to put it on 360 It just takes time and patience.

@zkaymon if your not a complete noob on gmod, you need more then the basic buttons a 360/ps3 controller provides. Gmod doesnt have VERY good graphics, nor half life 2, though they were some of the best when they were made. Technically it IS possible to put it on an xbox, just lacking ALL of the features that seperate it from half life 2.

I just remembered to say that instead of making all of the controls become usable on the xbox 360 controllers, and the other system controllers, valve could just make certain movements and certain functions to the controllers, and they could just sell with the game a keyboard that has all the keys needed for gmod, and the keyboard would be different for each console

Well i really could see gmod go on the consules, because half of gmod's profits go to valve, and if valve is convinced enough they could ask Garry if they could make a version of gmod for the other systems, and by that i mean only have images and models from valve games and the things that Garry and his team has made it would be so easy.
