  • She is putting the 9 ball on the spot.. I wonder if that was a rule for that year? Seems like it affected the cut break where the 1 goes in the side.

  • This bitch doesnt have a clue how to rack the balls

  • chalk off, eh!

  • I think its funny that they aren't making anything on the break, but no one seems to notice that the 9 ball is on the spot, not the 1... Pretty sure that would throw anyones break off.

  • Damn i'm loving that girl's rack. Oh and her set up for the balls is alright.

  • @MrsPhim it goes away after a few minutes

  • @SageTetsujin it's gone and it comes back again T^T noooo.......

  • Schmidt and that rack girl makes a great couple :D

  • I love 9 ball.

  • the game was awesome

  • Why when I look up billiards do I get pool? This is pool and everyone on the planet calls it pool. There is another game called billiards and the confusion is totally unnecessary.

  • @WillShakespeare2007 the one u sreaching for is snooker. :)

  • @anuarbobot - No Billiards. I should know my brother was British Champion at it.

  • @WillShakespeare2007 usually billiards refers to 3 cushion billiards.

  • im already 2 minutes in and im fucking annoyed by the announcer. luckly i can focus on the game and block him out

  • Audio level is way too hot, crazy distortion and way too loud.

  • @hybrid18reborn and as a lot of snooker fans like you thats where your ignorance of pool comes in. In snooker it's all about ACCURACY. In pool, like in this case, 9 ball it is also about POSITIONAL PLAY. In pool, the spin and english needed for the next ball can slightly throw the pocketed ball off angle that is why bigger pockets are needed whereas in snooker less spin is used on the cue ball.

  • @gumaming Absolutely and completely wrong. I'm not going to deny that these players are extremely talented, they are, but the precision, spin and technique needed for snooker are in a completely different league. The reason the pocket's are bigger in American pool is to accommodate the much larger balls, another factor which makes it easier, bigger balls = more room to play with when trying to produce spin.

  • @gumaming No, 9 ball is about positional play. Snooker is about accuracy AND positional play.

  • Why don't they just go for a shot to pocket a ball rather than just hitting the balls and try to block the shot for the other person?

  • its too bad the audio on this video makes it unwatchable. i dont want to hear the announcer being louder than the commentators at the same time

  • I REALLY wish the commentator at the arena would shut the hell up. I know he's doin his job, but jesus... He's just annoying!!!

  • awesome i hope i watch this full :P

  • check out my pool vids , i am 14 yrs old 9 months playing

  • why do snooker fans always talk about pocketing balls on how tight and how sharp they are? listen, pool is not only about pocketing.. its a thinking game!

  • Pool is a game which should be played with friends for fun. The snooker is the real professional game. I know 12-years old kids who can beat the world champion of pool. This is not professional.

What thinking are you talking about? There's almost no need to position the cue ball. They can make a shot along the whole table with no problem. You can see what is real thinking, cue control, potting ability, etc. in the snooker. The pool is a lame game.

  • @MoDz91

You're kidding right? 9-ball doesn't define pool. If 9-ball is the only pool game you've played, you need to get your head out of your ass.

    "What thinking"

Get your head outta your ass and THINK of the possibilities in pool; jumpshots, carom shots, multi rail bankshots...etc.

Snooker isn't one bit superior to pool. The size of the pocket doesn't define which game is harder or easier. Pool isn't better than snooker either. To transition to either requires skill. Don't push it.

  • @MoDz91

    "12-years old kids"

I've seen 10 year old kids master the snooker table. No, forgive me, I've seen 3 year olds with snooker championships.

    "No need to position"

Good grief. Watch efren reyes play 8 ball. There might just be a chance that you will understand the diversity of pool.

  • @MoDz91 hahaha you got me laughing, it is a joke right, man i tell you some one can beat you easily playing jack and stone if he is professional in that game! same as in any sport man, unless you has a mind of an ant to understand and respect each others sport.

  • @MoDz91 You're a retard. If what you say is true, then why isn't Ronnie the world #1 in 9-ball? If snooker proves supperiority to pool, then wouldnt it make sense that the best snooker players would also be the best pool players? Wu, Efren, Strickland, Bustamante, any of these pro 9 ball players would beat Ronnie on an american table. Likewise he would beat them on an English table. You can't make comparisons between these two sports just because they're cuesports. They're very different

  • @EvilCloud020 You are the retard here. Just think. Snooker and pool are different - balls, table, table cloth, cues, etc. That's why Ronnie is not number 1 in pool. But if he wanted to, he would be the best.

I can compare them. Everythink in pool is for amateurs - smaller pots and table, bigger balls. This is so easy.

As I said, I know 12-year old kids who ALWAYS make all the balls. Thus they will beat whoever they play against.

  • @MoDz91 Yeah, you really got yourself in poop for that one. Those who adapt to playing Snooker with smaller balls for it's smaller pocket's and a bigger table will indeed appear better at precision shots, but I believe it fares differently on an American billiard table.

9-ball has gameplay dedicated to very diverse, precise trap-making. Snooker's order of potting isn't absolute, nor does the game offer more variety in situation since the layout of the balls in each game are more often similiar.

  • @Nazareeni There are 36 balls to be potted in a snooker frame, not just 9 as in the pool, as the last few are ordered.

I have played around 100 racks of pool at all and yesterday I played 9 ball and I potted all the balls in 3 games out of 5. 100 fuckin' games and I am almost professional pool player. Who will beat me, if I could pot all of them every time? Nobody. That's what I don't like - how easy this sport is.

The safety shots in the pool are for players who can't pot all the balls at once.

  • @MoDz91 Right, in Indonesia [where I played as a child] we used 15 balls. One mistake would mean minus points + a free start to the opponent of course. I've seen many people just slightly higher over my age that speak the way you do. All they want to do is pot stuff. That's ace n' all, but by the time you make one slight mistake, against a really good billiard player, then there's a high chance of it being game over for you.

  • @MoDz91 Infact you can't say much since I've seen entire games of snooker where one guy has sat down for about 95% of the match. Depends on each player, not the game. So I will be breaking down my first comment to you specifically to prove why you speak nonsense.

  • @MoDz91 To put it simply, I made 3 points:

1 - A Snooker champion would have a hard time against a Pool champion in a game of 9-ball. And vice versa. Just because the table is bigger and the balls are smaller do not actually make Snooker players better in a game of Pool. It's like bringing a sniper into a close quarters firefight. [Also you shouldn't compare styles, but rather individual people. You sound like a martial arts noob trolling about how muay thai is better than wing chun].

  • @MoDz91 2 - You must be absolutely silly to think "There's almost no need to position the cue ball." It's the main reason you play this game. Infact, because there is more variety and unexpectency in the outcome of where all the balls go with the addition of allowance to pot only 1 ball in a fixed order makes it requires AS MUCH THOUGHT OR MORE [perhaps not in math] than a game of snooker in terms of cue control. As I said: trap making.

  • @MoDz91 3 - prt. II: Plus the decision of where you want the cue ball to be positioned in order to pot that next, limited to 1 ball, avoiding all those other scattered obstacles [unlike Snooker, where a good game requires no scattering at all]. Same concept, smaller space - more diversity.

  • @MoDz91 3 - Because of my 2nd point, it means a game of Snooker is boring compared to a 9-ball game. But that's just me. My dad loved & prefered snooker. But he's also the one that taught me everything about billiards. So instead of trolling on here it's better to simply respect both. Just because your experiences of past pool games were lame doesn't mean your judgement is absolute yet.

Sorry if my rant was too giant. I shall take my departure now.

  • @Nazareeni 3 prt. II is actually 2* - part. II***

  • When i hear them say the pockets are tight i just wanna smack them..... try playing english pool or snooker pockets are just slightly bigger than the balls..... means you really gotta hit the balls right to pot them as opposed to american pool when you shoot down the rail the ball can hit the cushion, come off the rail and still go in..... that would never happen in english pool and especially not in snooker

  • Wow! 4:48, what a shot!

  • Haha 15:57 I remember how Earl said in a fairly recent interview that Cuetec ruined his game.

  • lol @ the spidershot thing at 35:00.

  • Pool can also be called billiards, it's not a big deal. If you get a chance, please check out my one-handed pool trick shot videos. cheers

  • 9 ball. Same corner pocket

  • NINEE! 44:53

  • Nice rack!

I'd let her rack my balls if y'all know what I'm sayin'..

  • @henrik2310 Please elaborate?

  • @xtrava She has nice breasts and may occasionally touch my scrotum if she finds it pleasing

    Any further elaboration needed?

  • thumbs up if you hear mobile ring @11:55

  • @sahibgreat im deaf thanks ass mole

  • She IS beatutiful!!!!!!!

  • nice video blitzpool,net

  • 04:43 what should efren reyes do? Just watch

  • I hate Danny Dilberto SOOOOOO much...

  • 44:57 wow

  • in the second game, schimdt just taps the cue and doesnt hit anything. isnt that a scratch and efren has the ball onhand? is there a rule that i dont know?

  • @benlaroza

I'm not that far into the video, but I'm assuming this was right after the break, and he had no shot on the one ball. And he did was is called a "Push" the opponent can either "Accept" the shot you've given them, or reject it, thus giving it back to you. The push can only be performed on the very first shot right after the break, by who ever is shooting first right after the break.

  • @benlaroza He pushed out, you can do this after the break.

  • @benlaroza he taps the cue BALL... read up on push outs... it wouldn't be a scratch, that's when you pocket the cue ball and it's ball IN hand...

  • that announcer is dead to me

  • this game looks very shit, i'll stick to snooker.....

  • Fuck the announcer in the back.

  • That announcer in the back is annoying as fuck.

  • That announcer in the back is annoying as fuck.

  • the self phone guy needs to get kicked out, what a big cock-ass-hole.

  • When that cell phone rings at 15:00, the guy actually answers it! You can hear him say "hello." I hope he got kicked out.

  • kinda new at pool here, but my question is: why dont they try to make a shot in until late into the game?

  • @chajetex becuase they dont attack until the table is laying right. theyll break, if they dont like the position theyll push, then play safe, the opponent will attempt to kick safe. in pool youll learn that you take what the table gives you and you just try and hit the best smartest shot in your reprotoire. hope that answers your Q.

  • Wow tell that announcer in the background to shut the fuck up !

  • what kind of cue is reyes using?

  • i love that commercial with strickland looking like a complete douche at the end

  • It's just pure joy to watch Efren play. It would be real dream to see him live.

  • How can u upload up to 50 mins???

  • LOL archer doesnt look like a happy guy here

  • this is pool, not billiards

  • @njerzynek

Pool is a form of Billiards. So is carom, snooker, etc.

  • how old is jon schmidt?

  • BClub rocks!

  • Why can't the WPBA post some of their matches on Youtube?

  • wtf @ the 25:30 ad. Can they still be so openly sexist by putting women in the same category as luxury possessions?

  • @ryunaki It has nothing to do with the woman. The comparison was directed at the pool table. The aim of the ad was to promote the reputation of Diamond Billiard Tables as being among the highest quality of products. Perhaps your preoccupation with woman's rights clouded your view...but you'll take notice that the woman was the victor in the ad, which conflicts with the traditional reputation of man as the successor. Just take it easy in the future.

  • @xakiraprojectx clearly you are one of those internet super analysts. also, you clearly cannot recognize a joke when you sees one, despite the overwhelming intelligence you are representing. So, tell me, what is the point of having a gorgeous women dressed in a sexy dress as part of the ad if they are merely comparing their pool table to the finer things in life, if not to consider her as one of them, as they have clearly been found guilty of at 25:35? To show women can be better at pool? Why?

  • I have to say these announcers are probably some of the lamest I've ever had the misfortune of sitting through.

  • he is so unique, i want to be just like home

  • shut up!!

  • Oops! John's just jumped up a couple of times and stumbled into Richard Parker's boat... ;^)

  • Fail to see what problem people have with Danny DiLiberto's commentary - it's really among the the most insightful sports commentary I've heard over the years.

  • It's a 9 foot table

  • what are the measures of the table they're playing?

  • shut up Scott!

  • Why do Americans refer to this as billiards? I can never understand it when I turn on ESPN and see the reference, I guess it can refer to all cue sports?

  • I don't know what it is, but as soon as I watch all 50 minutes of this (>.<) I seem to get better at playing my self.

  • yow.!!can somebody tell me what table size is this..??

  • @kensdgreat its the same size, just looks smaller cause of camera angle :)

  • @Throughthesoul yow.!!im talking bout..if its 8ft or 9ft..

  • Schmidt... hm...

  • Can't believe that last shot from Schmidt. Why doesn't he play safe?

  • in 9 ball, does scratching the cue ball while making in the 9 ball same time = you lose? just like 8 ball.

  • @idkyoo yes then your opponent wins the game

  • @idkyoo respot the nine, ball in hand.

  • the girl who places the balls... she's hot...

  • pocketing accuracy is all schmidt have as a player

  • Amazing game! Check out the Greater Southern channel to see how you can set up your own billiard game center!

  • background audio is fucking annoying !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • it's kinda funny.

  • damn reyes is such a badass

  • nice commercials but the best product they should be selling is that girl... hot as hell!!!

  • wow the girl setting the ball is hot...

  • I think schimdt is using a rage cue white knight (or was it white spear?)

  • What the fuck is wrong with youtube recently?? the vidz freeze at random fucking places.

  • merciiiiiiiiiiiii

  • Great match! Watched many times, one of my favorites. That first rack was the stuff dreams are made of! However, I did not watch it to come in here and uselessly complain about the audio. It can't be fixed, so just enjoy the video for what it is; a great damn 9 ball match

  • @perfecthot77 You really seem to have been hurt by a woman. Did your wife(sister) sleep with your brother and your pet dog at the same time? Bettin she liked the dog the best out of the three...

  • @chrisco510 if your talking to me yeah my mom use to hang me upside down in a closet and beat me with a bamboo stick,My sister used chineese torcher methods and would fucck my freind. my and then later i found out my girlfreind fucks everybody at the resturaunt she worked out, wich is like 25 black dudes and mexicans. HAHA just made most of that up!

  • I was playing about 50% of my normal speed once, and a girl at the bar took a particular interest in my suffering and she made a comment like she didnt like my attitude or something. Anyway, Women will fuck with your emotions and your way ahead of the pack if you ignore them, atleast while your in a tourny!

  • Btw i dont hate women or anything but im just glad they have their own tour because they can just demolish your focus just by making a couple ignorant ass comments.

  • lol

  • @5fmagic

We know that it was pretty obnoxious. Unfortuntely, the arena microphone was not turned off and we recorded all the player announcements for that round. Nothing we can do about it now.

  • that guy talkin is fukn annoying.

  • sound in background fuckup

  • nice game

  • Comment removed

  • the audio is rather messed up on this one

  • sir efren anakan u me..whoah..IM A PROUD FILIPINO..gogogo

  • what kinda pool rack is that? looks cool.

  • efren reyes is not the best palyer of all
