railroad bridge moving on mississippi river

I forgot to mention, my step dad use to the work the tubs there in Clinton swtching barges out going up and down the river, so I've been through this bridge driving tubs before, that was so cool being a kid driving one of them....

I grew up in Thomson IL, I've seen this bridge my whole life it seems, seen it open and close more then i could count,

I model HO scale now, and i want to build one close to it in scale..

I miss Iowa soo much! I live in Maryland but was born there in Clinton. Dad always said that bridge moved but i never saw it. i guess its true...lol. Ty for the vid. It answered one question I havent been able to answer in 2 years.
