    I love it!

    JW

  • Stage Star! These sound AMAZING with the right guitar...plug a Harmony H-62 into it and it is just pure magic.

  • thats a rusty amp chassis! i think it's a great idea to restore the electrics

  • Man, how do you make that sound at 38 seconds??

Every Harmonica players do that trick, and i'm not able to do it...

    Help me please! ;P

  • Hi its not a trick, you play tongue blocking and then shake your tounge like you lick p...., haha T

  • Hey man i have the same exact amp bought it from bharath the fourth input on the right is the microphone input plug your mic into that and use the volume control on the far right next to the tremelo input much louder.

  • its not really louder, its much more bassier ,for the mic i used its too much, the 707 is so fat that the combination would make a tone thats too much, so i played thru the instrument channel

  • BTW i saw at the end you are playing through the instrument port plug it into the microphone port last one on the right then use the volume that is by itself on the right much louder man you will freak

  • Oh my god i have the same exact amp i bought it from bharath. if you daisy the tremotone to it and play it is the sickest loudest rig you've ever heard brother

  • Man, look at this little black box on top of the amp. LOL. Slowly moving from left to right.

  • Great to see more amps and your sounding better than ever, Thomas. So with 2-6L6 Power tubes capable of putting out 40 watts, why are so many of the old 2-6L6 amps in the 20 watt range? Is it a smaller power transformer, the rectifier, both? Do you think the power tubes still saturate and overdrive as much as a 40 watt amp?

  • they have a small power transformer and running Class A schematic, i need more vids from you!!!

  • I really love your tone, Thomas! And tone is no matter of ampification or microphone, of course (your equpiment doesn't seem to make a too big difference on YOUR sound). This is a good player's trademark .

    My respect

    Christian

  • thx, yeah thats right, i have almost the same tone no matter what setup i play, so its not the amp, cable, mic, harp, its the player, but its so much fun to play all this crap, haha

  • Sweet ... I've got to start hitting junkyards more often. Thanks Thomas!

  • I can't believe that an ugly box like that with "oval speakers" could deliver such a good tone !!

    AWESOME!!

  • the amp was found on a junkyard in a back of an old army bus

  • Nice amp i have not seen that model before - 4 ovel speakers for the old Blues HaRPcarnt be bad

  • i think there is even one with 3 oval speakers, but i dont know the model name

  • National Aztec... same electronics as the Stage Star but with 3 oval speakers.

  • yeap, like to play one

  • another sweet old amp Thomas!

    The Blues Box

  • Nice tone :) Last time I saw 6X9 speakers was in the back of a 70's Vega hatchback! LOL
