I was thinking. A little idea of my own that even though it sounds pretty darn stupid, is kind of neat in my mind. They revamp The Joker and gave him a whole new story...now what if they revamped Harley Quinn? Maybe a more darker Harley with a different last name. Someone that can represent that comic character. Perhaps she was there all along in the second movie but nobody knew it except for The Joker himself. My own thought but they are going to need good characters for the next film.

god. this movie was so awesome. i like this so much more than the originals because it was alot more believable rather than cartoony. dont get me wrong i love the old stuff, not to mention jack nicholson's performance. but it felt like something this crazy could actually exsist. it's all so real. not to mention heath did an excellent job. christian bale is such a great batman, and heath seemed like the perfect pair. they were destined to be eachothers rivals.

The Dark Knight was basically a James Bond with a halloween costume.

Don't get me wrong: A good movie but all the FALLING OVER is a bit to much. about 30mintues too long. All in all I'd give it a B to B-.

Dark Knight rocked, it wasn't a fkn child movie any more. It made you fear and feel the craziness of the Joker, and the human sadistic criminal nature. It brought light on the ethical battles Bruce fought within, which the old batmans never really showed in such depth, and showed the quality of Batmans' ability to endure despite all the hate. And also the pain of being a good guy and what it takes to remain a good guy. Those not strong enough break. This was the best Batman film so far.

also, don't forget that Batman was always the dark heroic figure that would come out at night (like a bat, lol), in conflict within and always chased by the police and many times was hated by the people. That was always the story to him. Even the old films, like BM returns, show how people turned their hate easily to BM. That's why they call him the dark knight. Perhaps if this Batman movie was meant to be a family movie such a midway point would have been suitable. But it isn't, it is true to what batman is and then some. Like said in the movie, he is the hero that Gotham deserves right now but not the one is needs. Though below that he is more the one it needs than what people would know.

This does look better than the Batman movies of the late 80s and 90s. (89,92,95,and 97). Plus I guess the technology is just so much advanced now then it was during those times especially in 89 and 92. Plus this Joker just seems to have a different tone and which I like by the way. It most certainly sets him a part from Jack in '89.
