i have never played this game fully and the sandy temple was the only one i needed help on. I got the book at the start and everything just cant get the big key.

@TommittajaFIN No, not every single item is necessary to finish the game.

I believe it was every treasure from dungeons you needed, and the fire rod

which is not inside of a dungeon. The rest is optional.

okay... tho i have already found much of the stuff, like a shovel, ice rod (useless) and the magic powder. going through the 3rd crystal :P can't seem to find a route tho...

@TommittajaFIN That's good to hear man, yeah the 3rd crystal is tricky to get.

Here's a general tip for you to stock up on magic power, and to get some use

out of the Ice Rod.

Freeze an enemy, then smash it with the hammer and you are likely to get

a small or big magic bottle, I hope that helped a bit.

Also, to enter the 3rd palace you will need th fire rod.

Good luck finding it !

If after you drain the lake, you go and pick up one of the flopping fish and throw it into some other body of water. It will say thanks and give you some rupees.

the man that followed you as you know gives you a bottle from a metel chest that can not be opened because the key is in side and he can open it because he was one of the thevies.(those girls in the woods that bump into you and take stuff). one of the leaders that dont take your stuff says something about him.
