Please note the design of the ball! Most lattice balls have holes that form a V and easily catch and hold toes. These were the safest style that I had bought, and also were the cheapest. Green cheeks are such fun!

How did you get him to not bite you, I just got my conure 3 days ago and he is biting me left and right!

In this case I'm trying to get him to calm down by speaking to him calmly. Birds are a lot like mirrors, they can reflect whatever emotional state you are in. Biting usually means fear on the birds part. Take it slow, and use food treats to reward good behavior. Good luck!

Yes, they do talk! I have a video of Scooter here on Youtube titled Sweet Baby where he says just that. Their voices are kind of robotic, but hey! they do talk!
