  • You are exactly correct. I wish all human beings had your depth. Manning unfortunately is missing the entire "gene" that is composed of compassion. .....and in the world and work Manning claims to be a part of? ......its complete absurdity that he spews the hate that he obviously has towards all people, and also his own race. God bless all.

  • Your father is rejoicing in the presence of the Lord (heaven) right now! This video is a very good example of how a true man of God responds to foolishness. Thanks for it!

  • Calling someone an obscene name is human and Jesus forgives that!

  • First of all my condolences at the loss of your father.Second of all.Wow!!What a powerful speaker.Never ever raised his voice.I know you cannot judge people on one single encounter ,but this man seems like he is completely in touch with reality and people.Funny thing is I ended up here because I saw a pastor Manning video and I was curious when I read the video title.

  • @JDomo he was a powerful speaker. he knew the word of God and lived to share it. he was a true disciple. thank you for your kind words.

  • Manning is a cretin, and a self hating cretin at that. Anyone that agrees with him is equally cretinous.

The man in the video, conversely, is rational, calm and someone who folks easily can listen to and respect.

  • R.I.P. PASTOR.

  • True words of wisdom and truth right here,I'm no fan of what Obama is doing but the words here are absolutely correct..Thank you for bring the things you spoke of to light.

  • I enjoyed the video. Then I read the comments that the Pastor has went 2 Glory. My deepest condolences 2 the family. <3

  • @blacklannmuzik1 Thank you....we know that his soul is resting well from his labor!

  • I'm no fan of Barrack Obama but I have to agree with the man in the video here. I just saw a video where "Pastor" Manning said "Jesus hates Obama" and that's a line of crap and has no basis in Scripture. Maybe Jesus may hate some things Obama has done. Jesus hates things I have done and things every mortal human has done but Jesus hates the sin not the sinner.

  • Spirituality is linked to God, and religion is linked to Man.

  • @Roddy3B very true my friend

  • Well said.

  • preach on sir...you need to school that racist manning on what love is about not hate and false prophesy

  • Mr. Manning is a False Prophet, and an EX CON, who obviously hasn't changed much.

  • “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness. Matt. 23.

How about Paul telling in Galatians the disbelievers might as well go ahead, emasculate themselves, all the way, Jesus nor his followers were lite in tone.

  • Thank you dear man of God for sending this message. I have been shocked by some of the things that pastor Manning has said. Such talk does not sound like the love of Christ!!!

  • Thanks

  • Very well spoken,...it's just that MANNING and WRIGHT both needed this.

  • Why did he not address MANNING and WRIGHT???

  • good words

  • Now this is a true man of God... Thanks

  • I'm sorry to hear about your father, may he rest in Peace.

  • @Yahshua4life Thank you for your condolences!!

  • GOOD WORD MAN OF GOD, THIS IS WHAT WE ARE IN NEED MORE OF!!!!!!

  • Thank you all for such kind words. My father would be delighted to see all of these comments. As we approach the two year mark of his death...I am so glad to see that he still has a voice and that makes my soul sing with joy!! Rest in peace Daddy!! You are missed but never forgotten! Rev M N Kelty (4/23/51 - 7/19/08)

  • I LIKE THIS GUY AND WHAT HE HAD TO SAY!!!!!! WORDS OF WISDOM FOR ALL OF US!!

  • this is the gospel truth.RIP my bro.

  • I Just Want To Say To mnkeltybay1, I Am So Sorry. This Man Was Truly A Man of God.

Just By Waching This I Can Tell He Was Humble God Bless You.

  • well the way i feel is tht we need both ppl in this world, manning to get us fired up and thinking and after it is all said and done this man to guide us through with grace. peace.

  • This kind is a tender fellow. He's such a sweet tender man. Too bad that doesn't always get people to understand what's REALLY goin on.

  • Amen!!

  • I clicked this video at random after a pastor manning video and it made me feel much better about the world and the people that live here. Maybe there is still hope.

  • Pastor Manning is an ACTOR! Do not take him seriously! LOL@HIM.

He is a Howard Stern wanna be.

  • Thank you

  • The anger in me will not allow me to respond to manning in such a civil manner. I admire your resolve and calm in responding to this Hireling called manning. I hope that, one day, I can be like you.

  • I Join my witness to yours my dear.

  • This man knows what manning says is correct. He's just afraid to be labled by his own.

  • @Minionuup This man knows what manning says is correct. He's just afraid to be labled by his own.

    EXACTLY, Minion!

    Jesus was NOT very nice while rebuking devils;

    SATAN, LEAVE HIM!

That does not sound 'loving' like the left wing lunatics wish to sound!

  • sound is very low..

  • He should have taken up for Rev. Manning !!! he appears to be to weak !!! but, good words.....

  • Thank you so much for your kind words. They mean so much to me as during this time of the year as I miss him so much! He was not a man of hate but of love and walking and living the word daily. Yes...he was beautiful Pastor and Father!!

  • Rev Manning tells it like it is i like him.

  • I truly appreciate your comments and condolences. My father was an extraordinary man, with a extraordinary calling and we miss him dearly but as you said that mystery that we seek has been revealed to him...and he is enjoying resting with his heavenly father.

  • i know nothing of this rev. but i perceive him to be a true man of G-d. compassion, fearlessness and generosity are the three greatest virtues. it is in this form that love and faith are manifest. who can claim to be a man of G-d and lack virtue? Rev, Marvin N. Kelty, may G-d try your works and find them as pure gold.

  • Thank you so much for your message. I am Yolanda, Rev. Kellty's daughter. My father passed away shorltly after he recorded this video 7/19/08. The words you spoke was really my father, compassionate, he feared nothing but God, and he was a genenrous man to the point that it sometimes hurt him. And his works were tried on 7/19/08 and God found him to pure as gold and he is resting well with our Heavenly Father. Thank you so much and in my father's favorite words...and may heaven smile upon you.

  • very good video. well spoken and concise. however, where is it again in the BIble, where Christ states the "many will say that I spoke in your name, but I will know you not" ??? what Pastor Maning rails against is Evil. IMHO only, as a Christian, I must the sinner, but Hate the sin. with respecs. FT

  • Rev. MN Kelty you still lives on in our hearts. Love you and miss you daddy!!

  • Sorry for your loss as well, I lost my dad who was also a minister last year 10/2/08, I can relate.

  • Thank you eyerize...my father was such a big part of my life..that the loss of him as changed my very existance...I so know your pain! It is so bittersweet as I know that he resting with his father whom he loved so dearly...and there is nothing greater than that...but I so selfishly wish that he was here with me! I pray your strength.

  • Rev Kelty was truly a GREAT man of GOD! RIP KELTY! you are greatly missed and loved by many.

  • have you aired out abour Farrakhan can you send me a link where you are talking about his speeches please ?

  • What a joke...you only care because he insulted barack Obama and it gets the black anger out of your demon spirit. When they dissed Bush or even Condi you never said ANYTHING. YOU ARE A HYPOCRIT AND A JOKE. BE A CHRISTIAN FIRST! NOT A RADICAL BLACK JOKE.

  • My father was not a hyprocrite but a man who spoke the truth and stood by his opinion. If he was alive to respond to you, he would have simply said, we all are entilted to our opinions and that you should respect his as he would respect yours.

    Be blessed!

    Yolanda

The daughter of Rev. MN. Kelty

  • obama is just the tip of the iceberg,he insulted joyce mayer, joel osteen...

  • you are to nice....

  • We Miss U Kelt!!! You Will always Be a special part of our lives!!! love Ya!!!

Lynn or as you used to call me "Lucille"

  • What happen to him!

  • My father passed away 7/19/08 after heart complications from open heart surgery! This video was shot shortly before his passing.

    RIP Rev. MN Kelty

  • I'm sorry for you lose. I'm glad he spoke out against Pastor Manning!

  • Thank you so much for your condolences, I am also glad that I have this video of him.

  • Pastor manning is a quack. Seriously..

  • You sir, are so full of love and enlightenment; You can not see that "Pastor Manning" is a fraud. His ministry is an act. But reasonable men like you, are God's true servants. The light in you shines and reveals God's love and purpose for our lives. Thank you sir!!!!

  • AMEN BROTHER!!!

  • When I said I didn't just look at Obama's moral stances-I also looked at his past support for legislation as well as read the book "Black Theology and Black Power" which is the teaching at his church, founded by James Cone, & although some of the points were valid, just as some Mormon & Jahovah's Witness points are valid, I found it's teachings to be cult-like & those of a false prophet. So I asked myself how he could attend that saducee-like church for 20 yrs & never feel an urgency to leave.

  • I wanted you also to know that I did not realize your father had passed away until later that night after I posted my comments. I am sorry for your loss and your father was obviously a wonderful Christian man.

  • (cont)

And I think if we as Christians spend more time getting ourselves right in the eyes of God and spend more time working in the vineyards, showing more love and compassion to our fellow man, and being true disciples of Gods word, and leave the revealing of sin to GOD, we as Christians could be more effective in a lost and dying world.

  • mnke: I am very active in getting myself wight with God. I am a very loving individual as well, but when I see sin that is so detestable as killing innocent lives that God knows even in the womb it makes me have to speak out for them. I am in the vinyards. You sohludn't assume I'm not. I pray with fervor for this country and I am very active in bringing teenagers to Christ one person at a time by building loving relationships with them and nurturing their faith.

  • I agree w/ much of what you are saying, but personally I'm tired of the evangelical church being afraid of to speak out against sin & always over-emphasing love. (not that I am in any way endorsing Mannings message) Christ didn't just talk a/b love. If Christ were here today I believe he'd be talking a/b abortion & homosexuality & they'd crucify him today for it. There is nothing wrong w/ pastors pointing out sin. Prayer is obviously needed, but exposing sin is important.

  • continued..I can't wrap my mind around how black evangelicals could throw unborn baies under the bus. Obama's an ardent supporter of abortion all the way up till the 9th month! (Partial Birth abortion) He openly said the "Freedom of Choice Act" was on the top of his priority list. How can you not feel convicted about that? Half of all aborted babies are black. You've sold out your own! I didn't see this kind of support for Alan Keyes! Keyes represents the Christians-black AND white!

  • Geneva, I appreciate your comment however, I take issue with your some of your statements as it seems that you are being very judgmental and pushing your own agenda. Let me state that since my father is no longer with us I will speak on his behalf. He did not agree with all of President-Elect Obamas viewpoints and policies however he found it important as a Christians to do as I Timothy 2:1 state to pray for those in a position of authority and to show them love, respect

  • (cont)

and kindness and not the spew hate and propaganda like that of Pastor Manning. I would also like to address your statement made about the evangelical church being afraid to speak out against sin. I feel that this is a very general statement as my father was not that kind of Preacher. He was not afraid to speak out against sin, but he felt that the greatest weapon against sin is love, because as 1 Corinthians states that greatest of these three things is love.

  • (cont)

Yes, I know that we have to make known what Christ says and to follow the Word of God but I think that while we must judge one's behavior we must we try to nurture the goodness in an individual. How can you as a follower of Christ, know the word, know how to prophesy and speak in other tongues, comprehend mysteries, have unsurpassed knowledge, have such great faith to move mountains, and know the word but do not know how to LOVE that dont share your same viewpoint.

  • (cont)

How do you expect to reach those that are lost if you cannot love them in their sin?

And what truly disturbs me about your statement is that it seems as though you are judging President Elect Obama based on his viewpoints regarding abortion and therefore coming to the conclusion that he is not a follower of Christ and that those who support him and confess to be Christians are wrong.

  • (cont)

If Pastor Manning or even you as followers of Jesus Christ, should be able to separate the deed from the doer and see people as Jesus saw people. You do not know the ultimate plan for his life as God can use him or anyone of us in our sin. Jesus could see a king in a shepherd boy and an Apostle in a murderer.

So I will end this with saying that I do not morally agree with everything going on is this world today and I totally believe in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

  • (cont)

But I also know that I try daily to follow the Word of God but most days I am not successful, but I do know that God is forgiving and merciful so every day I ask him to reveal to me those areas where I need improvement and I ask him to show me where I have sinned and have strayed from his word because I know in the end he will be my ultimate judge.

  • mnke: please do not think I don't understand or appreciate God's love and mercy, but as a LEADER (president) God calls those who show his love and mercy as well and I do not see love and mercy being shown to millions of aborted babies from him. And it would be one thing if just left the laws as they are, but the "freedom of choice act" will force Christian Dr's to perform abortions and partial birth abortions or they can be sued. That's not merciful to Christian Doctors either. I read the bill.

  • mnke: cont..I do nto know the ultimate plan for Obama's life, but David and Paul turned their lives around and were seeking God on a regular basis and would admit when they were sinners or had sin in their life. It would be one thing if Obama acknowledged that abortion was wrong, but he doesn't. He even voted to let babies die after they lived through an abortion. 1 out of every 2 babies aborted are black. How can he be ok with genocide of black babies? Makes me cry to think about it.

  • Thnk you for telling and showing Manning the way to conduct himself as a man of god!!!!!!

  • Thank you all so much for your comments. My father was a loving and kind man and we surely miss his presence. He was a great man of God and he left us many sermons that I would like to share. So please stay tuned for more of his teachings!!!

  • This is your father & he has since passed?

  • Yes, he passed on 7.19.08

  • This is my first time seeing this. I knew from the first 30 seconds this is a true man of God. I only wish he was still here in the nature form because he could have taught "Pastor Manning" plenty.

  • sorry for the loss of your father Yolanda. just from watching this video, I can tell that he was true soldier in God's army, I'm sure that he will be missed by you and all others who had the priviledge to know him.

  • Sorry to hear about your lost, this video should be seen by more people very well done.

  • I am Yolanda the daughter of Rev. M.N. Kelty. This video is truly special as this is one of the last videos my father recorded before he passed on 7/19/08. He was so proud of this as he was an ardent supporter of Obama. He was so involved that he offered his community center as a headquarter for Obama's SC campaign. I know my father is in a better place as he truly tried to live God's words and walk in LOVE as he so elequently spoke here in this video.

Rest In Peace Rev M N Kelty

  • Sorry for your lost. Well spoken.

  • Wish I had your restraint. Well spoken, and thank you for posting.

  • Say what you want about Pastor Manning but YOU KNOW HE IS RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I don't think anyone would agree with you.

  • You must be a white cracker

  • Pastor manning has lost his mind!
