Try filming it at night and turning off the lights in the room. Extra light sources can confuse the camera and keep it from adjusting it's settings to properly record the TV, which causes the screen to look far too bright or dark. If your camera has a crappy microphone and you have a better one built into your computer or that you can plug into your computer, you can use movie maker to add commentary later. Biggest thing is probably holding the camera steady or setting it on something.

does your camera have an optical zoom feature, if so you should use it. I recorded a video run-through of The legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time and I had a similar problem when I was zoomed too far out. Digital zoom might help with the glare. Sorry, I looked over the comments and I was sorta not being detailed.

I meant, in a custom stage I made, I made a floating platform be surrounded by by blocks, and threw a pokeball on it. Then, a bonsly lands on it, tips over on the edge and never gets up or disappears. However, whenever I pick him up and put him back on the ground, he might disappear. That's what I meant by it being possible to pick him up, not by the trampoline stages.
