RAVINE FLYER II POV - WALDAMEER PARK

Made a side trip to Waldameer last year on the way home from Cedar Point. It is the coolest, low key, family run park. They have a great sky ride and some real old-school funhouse type of attractions. Ravine Flyer II is an excellent coaster. I love this place and will be back.

I went up to Eerie and rode this. I hate roller coasters like this too and I didn't even know how big the drop was! lol My Aunt's friend was riding with me and when we got to the top she said "Lokk over at the lake!" I looked at it was beutiful! The sun was setting and the water was sparkling! Then I looked back to see a straight down 50 foot drop and said "OH SHIT!" overall, it was pretty fun :)

@kestrel842 Yes, it jerks you around a lot. I've rode this ride at least 40 times before, and never will again. There was a power surge going up the hill and the train stopped. The attendant wouldn't let anyone out and said we would be fine. So it starts up in about two more minutes. Then it freezes again and drops down like a foot then starts up again. This ride is kinda scary if there's a power surge and it's so old and rattles a lot. Other than that, a great ride. Have fun :)

The Ravine Flyer II is the best wooden roller coaster ever! The videos don't show enough though. When you get to the top of the first hill, all you see is Lake Erie below you. None of the videos show crossing Interstate 79 either. Great ride!

in school were learning about amuzement park physics in science because were having a field trip to waldameer on the 21st of may and we had the designer come in and talk to us about rollercoasters and he said they fixed the fast stop at the end

This roller coaster looks so awesome! I wish I could ride on it now. But even if I could, my mom would freak. She freaked when I got on a ride called "The Fireball" at the fair last year. I know she's just looking out for me though. Also, thanks symmastia for uploading this.

I live just south of that park about an hour away. and i recommend this park over any other park. it's like a mini Disney World, it's a place for family. it's just perfect, if your gonna ride that roller-coaster ride it at night, cuz it's 20 MPH faster and ur scared shitless the whole time from not beein able to see much. IT'S GREAT.

El Toro is a pre-fabricated woodie. In other words El Toro is not a true wooden coaster and rides like a steel coaster! Ravine Flyer is a true woodie and one of the best WOODEN coasters I have ever ridden

If you love speed and lots of twists and turns you really need to try this coaster out. However I am not a coaster fan but after being talked into trying this by a friend of mine I did get on and honesetly I hated it but that was just due to my fear of heights and speed otherwise the ride was alot of fun. I think anyone who loves a quick rush will really enjoy this ride.

The view of the lake at the crest of the first hill is breathtaking, and then massive acceleration as the coaster plunges 60 degrees. Great coaster!

Wow! What a punch! This rollarcoaster was a pure surprise! Third time was a charm in the backseat, a little tough rough, think I broke a rib...It will heal though, lol. Way to go Waldameer! Excellent Design, will keep me coming back for years!

This ride is amazing in short Ill tell you why I love this ride. first the chain lift is shorter than the drop, the bankings go from 60-90 degrees, the airtime is great on the hills, and theres exciting tunnels, and a fast run to the brakes, also features only wooden rollercoaster with a 90 degree turn!

I rode this for the first time yesterday. I was scared to death on the first drop. Just when you think its safe, you have yet another drop. I didn't get to see much while on this ride (I had my eyes closed). I will say that if you are planning to visit the Erie area take a ride on the Ravine Flyer, but leave your heart at home because it will end up in your throat after this ride!
