While I like the idea of Onlive and would be happy to pay the monthly $15 subscription fee, I probably won't get it unless broadband becomes cheaper and even then its not likely as I still have to share my internet connection.

They aren't using streaming as we know it. I believe it was referred to in the GDC 2009 presentation as a "custom silicon" card plugged into the processors. AKA their special processing algorithm.

They've had 7 years to put this together. They're smart enough. They'll be fine.

IGN needs to do a story along the lines of "Everything You Need to Know About OnLive." Too many people bash it who miss one crucial fact.

I suspect many of the people who bash it are just upset they spent years spending outrageous prices on new hardware and don't want to admit it. So they say it about anyone who plans on subscribing to OnLive.

Heavy Rain is very entertaining, don't knock it down just because it's movie-like. I thought that was a good thing anyways? It has great characters you can empathize with, a great story line, and believable events in it, all of which are packed into a detailed and good looking setting.
