Massgrave found with 51 norsemen, in this case probably danes. Ethelred ordered a massacre on danish vikings around 1002. But it wasn´t uncommon with swedes in danish service and also norwegians could be considered.

Frøyland come from the name Frey who is one of the most famous older gods. Its so many graves in this area that they dont open em all. They saves them for future generations, and open some each year. Only reason they open/find this, is becouse they was gonna build houses there.

They are excavating viking age graves at Frøyland in Rogaland, south western Norway. They have found iron rivets from a boat and more than 50 artefacts from the graves.
