@selby792 thats no excuse, in fact the autos actually accelerate quicker with the 4spd rather than the 6M in the GTOs

@GTO19020 I know that's why i bought an auto GTO. Its not much faster than an M6 but it is by a little bit in the 1/4. I'm just saying that it was impossible for the GTO to have a bad driver because he had an automatic. Unless he had T/C on because that will kill it.

@MrBriggsie At least their dependable. No strut rub, rear end whine, fire starting fuel rail covers, leaking floor boards, oil burning LS2's, the list goes on. I own an 06 GTO and love it, but don't pretend like they are some kind of prize. And try telling me an 03, 04 Cobra is not fast.

and my 386HP 421TQ 300C do mid 13's cuz first time down tha track it did 15.01 and than second pass 15.06 and my last past was 14.26 But This was my first time down tha track so it was weird

man a Stock 300c (345hp 400tq) can hit 13.8  and at my local track all the stangs ar 13.8-12.9

You must be at a low alltitude, 300c is known more for 14.2-14.6

I'm a Nissan man myself, but oddly enough I love the way the 4.6 sounds, and at the same time can't stand the way any LT1 or LS1 sounds, I don't have the slightest clue why.

the modular motor sounds way better than the pushrod motor. so i agree with you. but a 4v 4.6 sounds way meaner than a 2v

Yea i have an 04 goat. i dont have any new videos up of it tho. no camera )-: corsa exhaust, headers/cam/heads, 3600 stall converter and my fav one of all is the D1 Procharger! everyday driving i run 8 to 10 psi dyno an track anywhere from 18 to 25. i have only done one dyno pull at 25 psi tho i try to run it as low as i can so the motor will last me a lil longer haha!

a 5.7, the 04's had the ls1 in them and the 05-06 had the 6.0 ls2 in them

99-04 gts all have the same HP just different rims, spoilers, and hoods, but yeah even only being a 281 cubic inch motor with some work done they can be quite a competitor.

i agree with everything besides i believe our goat look much better then the stangs. an yea that guys sayin a pro driver should run a 13.9. haha bone stock they run low 13s and if you add anything at all an your a half way good drive you can run 13 flat easy. my last run was a 12.73 but hope to go 12 flat soon haha then the procharger will be going on, know clue what i will be running then!

when you say well a stock cobra runs this (in most cases a dumbass will put this) 13.2 in the 1/4 (my dads freind 2 weeks ago took a stock mach 1 12.91 in the 1/4) and that is bullshit, car and driver can suck my dick and so car any other magizane. the guy with the mach is the same guy that took his stock 03 cobra 12.09. but the car was burnt when the house cought fire. so he took the money and bought a mach 1 and a boat. lol. o yeah GTOs are slow for being that expensive and have 400 hp.

well im sorry to say that around here 04 gto are a drivers race for bolt on 99-04 mustang GT's

also it not a cobra its a 02 mustang GT with full exhaust i raced a 06 GTO that had went all the way to Lingenfelter got supercharged 6k im mods and still got its butt kicked by my 03 cobra with less then 1,500 in mods

Well your wrong on both counts, It is not my car, and GTO are not as fast as you think. My car was in staging lanes and I just so happened to film this one. Also the mustang did not redlight he just cut a better light.

uh yes they are guy i have an 06 goat and i drove an 06 stang and the gto is alot faster. i raced an 06 roush on the expressway and destroyed him. they may not be be good out of the dig because of there set up but please dont make comments on what you dont know

I raced an 04 GTO a while back in my automatic 00 Mustang GT with Magnapacks and Prochamber and took it. I prefer to go from a dig since I never spin my tires, but he was worried about it, so we went from a 5mph roll up to 100. Got him by a length.
