Interesting take on this song. Double bass drum to rival Gene Hoagland, guitars kick-ass (pretty much have to to play this) but it sounds like they handed the lyrics sheet to the singer and he never heard this song before. Still I like it!!

I guess I should be the one who schools a few people who believe that there was some sort of "drum machine" for this song. Their drummer is Reno Hilligsø Kiilerich. If you do not know who he is he earned a reputation by winning the Winter NAMM Show competition "Worlds Fastest Feet" in Anaheim, CA, in 2003 (that's 802 strokes in 60 seconds) and set a record for single stroke rolls. He is legit.

The drummer (Reno Kiilerick) plays some of the fastes double bassdrum i have heard..

..He won a wellknown competition for the fastest on double bassdrum some years ago!!

Try to see if U can play as fast with your fingers!! U can hold it 10 sec. then you are beginning to fall behind :-) But they have made other numbers where the drums are so fast, that it´s inhumane..

Panzerchrist have a new drummer now (Morten Loewe) He is a great replacement...

that doublebass was really fast on the time when this song was made. Novadays this aint that special. Almost all metalcore bands have doublebass as fast or faster than this. But ofc this is impressive. Reno used drumtriggers to make fast double pedalling alot easier but still awesome job he did!

I know very well what triggers are. When you hit triggered pedal, it plays sample (always the same) any time you hit it. Doesnt matter how hard you hit, just hit it. Ofc it reduces speed if you dont have to think how hard the sound of kick is going to be when you have triggers. You can do so called "tapping" to do sick fast double bass with triggers. without triggers that is impossible. You also save alot of stamina while using those.

@hoemmed WRONG... the action, volume and color from the sound that comes from the trigger IS affected by how hard you hit it... unless of course, you remove sensibility from the drum module, which in my opinion makes drums to sound like programmed... and unfortunately a LOT of drummers do so :(, that why people still think they make you play better, which they don't if used correctly, they should only give a better sound.

the triggers used on the ever so popular axis pedals and other sorts arent pressure sensative. mabey certian electronic drum kits. definetaly not the ddrum sensors, and all the other garbage out there. its why so many artists use triggers. they got triggers and now they are ever so popular, but to be honest, it just covers up shitty drummers who cant 1 foot blast or play to weak on there kits to sound through or just plain dont know shit about drumming and getting a good bass sound.

Drummers record the natural clean sound and then use a triggered bass sound to beef up their recordings so it cuts through. Is a guitarist using distortion cheating? What about a singer using a microphone?

Actually the standard ddrum triggers (ddrum pro triggers) ARE pressure sensitive. The thing is people set the module to ignore dynamics to get a solid consistent sound.

He won the competition : World's fastest feets, and at the time he won, think it's about 6-7 years ago, I don't even know if the trigger system was invented..He was at the time Denmarks fastest drummer, so don't say he uses trigger-system if U know shit about it. Sadly he have dropped out of music. But he had a natural talent for playing insanely fast..
