  • Such an underrated film.

  • It's funny how without a superhigh bodycount or any of the expected trademark cliche's, Snake Plissken still manages to be the most badass character I've ever seen on film. Seagal, Van Damme, Bronson, Stallone, Arnold, Bruce Lee & yes even Chuck Norris's characters, none of them carry the aura that Plissken does. Even if it came down to him & the unbeatable 007, I'd bet on the Snake. He knows he's the Toughest Badass on Earth, he doesn't need to prove it.

    Thank You for Reading.

  • You forgot all the people hooked up to life support he killed with that EMP at the end of the movie. :P

  • The movie should of have more kills.

  • can u do escape from new york?

  • This is an awesome sequel!

  • Glad other people enjoyed it.

  • Uh, that was quick. ;)

  • >:-)

  • Love both movies but this film has been seen by more people not only because it's one of the few sequels that's better then the original (although that one rocks as well), it also requires no prior knowledge of the original plus it's a non-stop thrill ride.

Love the special effects, actors & music big time!

Didn't recall him killing that many people

  • this movie sucked. apart he kills a disarmed guy.that of the travesrti guy was shit and for christ steve buscemi in this movie.a totally disaster

  • You must not be a hardcore action fan.

    SHUN.

    SHUN.

    SHUN.

    SHUN.

  • This movie's a lot of fun if you can get into the mood. I recommend watching it back to back with the original. It's fun how it mirrors the first film.

  • Someday they will make Cleavland......someday :(

  • We all wish that would happen.

  • This movie was quite stupid, but Russell-Carpenter are great duo. You may make the thing's killcount from the "The Thing" :)

  • >:-)

  • The Thing actually bored me but wasn't half bad.

Snake Plissken films are the superior of the Carpenter-Russell duo.

Ironically, unlike most people, I wasn't scared by The Thing. It might have been that it's outdated now but it didn't scare me at all

  • Well, a movie can scare a child or a woman so no surprise you wasn't scared, but "The Thing" is cool-awesome athmosphere and 80's spirit.

  • I know it's considered a classic but it doesn't hold up today for me like Escape from L.A.

  • If you want 80s atmosphere & Horror films, look no further then NEAR DARK or LOST BOYS

  • I don't like most of the horrors - they don't scare me and the stories are dumb. Prefer good old actions and some more serious movies...but mostly actions :)

  • Same here.

Only type of Horror films I like are the ones that also have Action & SciFi elements in them.

Examples: Alien, Predator, 28 Days Later, Pitch Black, Star Trek (not horror but it's Action/ SciFi), Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, etc.

  • Good list! [except The Lord Of The Rings - it's my favourite book and i find the movie vulgar and disrespectful to the spirit of the book :) ]

You may laugh but i also like "Soldier", "Event Horizon" and most of that director's movies(sorry, can't remember his name).

  • Paul W.S. Anderson is okay. I like the first AVP movie & Event Horizon & Mortal Kombat are both okay but SOLDIER stunk big time!

Kurt Russell was annoying, the action was poorly done & the plot was laughable

  • @WatchMyAwesomeVideos Sorry, but i disagree about the "Soldier". The movie is great and Russell acts exactly as is expected for the role ....about the plot - can you tell me a Hollywood action or sci-fi movie which plot isn't laughable?

  • Kurt Russell didn't need to act. All he had to do is frown & not show emotion for a callous soldier.

The movie was boring & I like action as much as the next guy or tom-girl.

You made a good point: All Hollywood movies are laughable upon close inspection.

The Dark Knight, The Departed, Terminator, James Bond, 300 & even There Will Be Blood are the biggest offenders.

Either way, the editing was poor. Equilibrium & Ballistic: Ecks VS. Sever are better mindless movies with ideas

  • @kaziklu79 Soldier is a very good film, but did John really made that movie?

  • @RobinsTaste No, he didn't. As far as i remember this post was an answer to another guy and we were talking about the director W. S. Anderson :)

  • @kaziklu79 Read H. Beam Piper and his book Space Viking. Find it at Project Gutenberg.

  • @ARP7777777 OK, thanks!

  • About time that somebody gave a body count for Kurt Russell.

Maybe you should do a killcount for the people he kills in Tombstone & combine his & Stallone's hits in TANGO & CASH.

Thanks though for doing this video. For the longest time, it seemed like YouTube had never heard of Snake Plissken.

I looked everywhere for clips & the only ones I saw were stupid music videos, action montages or your Action Hero Movie Quotes. The latter was the only good thing I could find on it.

    Thanks though.

  • His Tombstone count is up on our website.

Tango & Cash would be a great one to do. And thanks about our Quote video. We appreciate the praise.

  • You made the only good quote videos & even better is that you made 2 more afterwards!

You should check out 60 sec. quotes. There's 8 of these videos & they're all good (although one of them isn't available in the U.S. anymore due to copyright issues) but still I'll show you the link. It's cool
