@mayrhofer96 : Hello, your English is better than my Austrian. The Mentor is an easy trainer to fly and a good step up from the Easy Star. It can easily take off and land on smooth or rough grass due to it being light in weight for it's size and also has lots of power.
can't stand the loud music.....only watch 30 sec.... nobody will come to see a RC video for the music but some will stop watching because of the music
Hey man, love your flight demo :-) I have the Magister (upgraded to brushless, it zips along quite nicely) and just started flying it this summer, I've just been doing basic flying and using it as drop plane for my RC Skydiver, the only acro I've done with it are loops and didn't push it more because I wasn't sure of it's abilities, but by looking at your video, looks like I should be able to perform the maneuvers you're doing, 'cause there is not much difference between the two, right?
The Magister is the same, yes and a nice little flier. There is no reason why you can't be more adventurous with it either, just start your aerobatics at a high altitude so you have chance to save your plane if you get into difficulties. There is plenty of power in my Mentor so that helps to get me out of trouble. Happy landings!
I'm sure you will agree that all planes have their 'characteristics' but I know what you mean about 'foamies'. Because of the size and all up weight of this plane I don't notice any difference between this than my other balsa/lite-ply aircraft. If I was going to fly it on a windy day (say 20-30mph wind) then it has enough power to take on ballast weight. It still surprises me how much I enjoy flying this 'trainer' plane.
this is a very good rc plane aim start for a half year ago and i fly the mentor and it can fly ok fast and are good to take off and fly and landning so i mean that this plane is perfekt and to every rc fan in the world...tis is a good plane so buy it
Yes this plane is a dream to fly, a truly great trainer. This video is the official Multiplex promotional video and not me flying it. I will get some video up soon of our Mentor. The package consists of the plane, fixings, horns, etc & stickers, however you need to buy all the power train and radio to go with it. A beginner with nothing who buys this plane will need to spend around £500 for everything required. I have around 18 years RC flying experience and lost count how many I have flown.
looks like a easy flyer. Are you truly flying it?does it come as a ready to fly package with radio, rec. battery charger, baterry and everything else needed to fly? how many airplanes have you flown before this one?and one more question where can you buy it
come with controler

@goneriding11 : No, you have to provide your own controller for this ARTF model.

With this being foam, wouldn't it have different flying characteristics to a heavier balsa plane?

It took off quickly :O

The plane lifts with very little effort in a head wind and can be as easy to land in the same conditions.
