Amazing! You've been my favorite video hooper from the begining and this just prooves why. I just got my first fire hoop and I'm still very intimidated by the fire. How long have you been fire hooping and how long had you been hooping when you started? Did you ever have a problem with intimidation? I hope this isn't too many questions, but I'm dying to know.

Hooping: 2.5 years, fire 2 years double fire hoop 6 months.

I started with fire poi, so I was used to flames already but I still get a bit scared with the double fire since there are 12 balls of them and it's REALLY TOASTY at first. ; )

I don't get it... Is burning man just a giant hippie festival? From the descriptions I keep hearing of "it cannot be described", it sounds like a giant brain numbing dope fest. But then I hear of things on science shows about it... What the hell is it! :(

Amazing.... I actually missed BM 2008. Glad to see Fire Idol still going strong. They seem biased to poi. 2007 top 3 finalist's were poi spinners. Glad to see you made 4th get em next year SaFire =)

My hoops are light, I make then myself. When I first started the one I ordered online was just ridiculous to try to work with. I'm opening up shop on the 17th of January if you'd be interested in a new fire hoop that is lighter weight.
