R.I.D. is one of the many Transformers series I grew up with. I have a R.I.D. Prowl Figure and I also still have a R.I.D. SkyByted, both are missing their weapons XD

Masterforce kind of was out there because GINRAI (not optimus or convoy) was a shell for his human componant to "GET ON" and controll him then combine with his trailer to become "Super Ginrai" and then combine with GodBomber (who was a godmaster) to become "GOD GINRAI"
"God On." Since "god" is essentially "power", they're more-or-less "Powermasters", and the activation equates to "Power On".
Powermaster Optimus Prime in the U.S. and Ginrai in Japan happened at the same time, so it was basically a dead heat. PM Optimus Prime didn't have the Godbomber/Apex Bomber drone until later, but he did combine with his trailer like Super Ginrai. There just wasn't a cartoon as there was for Ginrai, only the comics. Aside from the whole Tommy Kennedy thing.
