  • sounds like an rb26, definitely the single exhaust is the best option for the Z32.

  • that shit sounds too fuckin nice

  • man thats fucking beast

  • my friend has one like that on his s14 and sounds beautiful

  • how much does that exhaust run?

  • Can't find them new anymore. Maybe NOS in Japan but it would be hard to find...

  • I've got one like this this on mine, not a 2+2 though. Installed it back in '97, it's from a'pexi, titanium y-pipe catback. Aggressive torque curve, but way too loud for my tastes nowadays. Can't start it without shaking the whole house, not to mention all the unwanted police attention.

  • do the come stock with lsd?

  • I have one on my 2+2, and yes, I'm in the US. Sounds MUCH better in person.

  • sounds MEAN.

  • i have the same exhaust on my zed.

  • Im am soo damn sold on this video Im gonna have mine done like this are you using a center muffler on this? The Greddy system has one i just wana know cause i might get this custom made.

  • There is a center resonator or "pre-muffler" if you will... this definitely would help quiet the system down as you can hear in my vid... single exit exhaust on a Z32 is loud as hell especially on an NA.

  • My Super Dragger was much quieter than that although being a TT does help towards that. I sold mine for dirt cheap a few years ago to a chap who grafted it to his existing Super Dragger and now has a dual HKS system that looks and sounds quite nice. I replaced mine with a nice Quad tipped polished SS LaBree system. I'm much happier with it's sound and appearance now.

  • @myz32rocks is the stock exhaust system y pipe into two muffelers or is it one muffeler per manifold (true duel)

  • @BassRacerx true

  • Greddy used to if not still sell the single side for the 2+2 i know someone who has one for sal but i live in New York ant there in Georga.sweet sound i cant wait to get mine done like this!

  • Thanks for the comment! The GReddy single exit is discontinued. All of the major performance companies made a single exit exhaust for the Z32 which includes: GReddy/TRUST, HKS, APEXi, and not to mention numerous other lesser known companies in Japan. Most of these of course were 2+2's but 2+0 versions were available. My favorite being the ESCORT Racing Ti exhaust for the 2+0.

  • Where did you buy your exhaust? I'm looking to get new exhaust for my 2+2. And how do you like the single exhaust??

    Thanks.

  • damn! imagine FOUR of these things on it! thats very nice

  • The reason it's loud is because there is one, four would be rather quiet.

  • how so?

  • its a physics thing, flow of gasses etc.

  • amazing

  • damn that sounds mean!!

  • Thanks. Test-pipes are coming on soon...

  • thats nice i love that im going to do the same thing just so mine can be different from everyone elses around here

  • i'd think you'd lose power since it's a v6 chopping the dual off.. but i guess it might be okay since it's n/a probably better backpressure? but the sound tells me otherwise sounds super mean

  • Nothing's been proven yet as I haven't had the chance to dyno but alot of the high HP Z32's (twin-turbo) in Japan have this sort of set-up. thanks for the comment!

  • Damn you lose the dual exhaust look but sounds really good!! sweet Z!

  • Thanks. Alot of people don't like it... but I guess it's because it's not the norm and that's what I wanted. Thanks again for the comment!

  • Hahaha! It's because my vid is an oddity! FREAKSHOW! Hahaha... how are you? Yeah I'll probably be coming to some meets again soon... Arizona isn't working out.

  • you are correct, my car originally had the single hks dragger system, i chopped the muffler off, found another 2nd hand hks dragger, made a twin 2.5" cat back and welded the draggers onto that.

  • i have 2 of these on my TT 2+2 :)

  • Two of these??? I'm not sure I follow.... What exhaust do you have? The HKS Super Drager is a single-exit exhaust as far as I know...

  • Very loud, don't know if I like how a single exhaust looks on the Z32.

  • Yes, it's a very aggressive sound. I have yet to install my test-pipes either. I can only imagine how much louder she will be. Alot of people don't like the style... it's a popular Japanese modification and that was part of the reason for going this route as I am going with a JDM theme.

  • nevermind u got a arizona plate lol

  • 8)

I actually might be moving back to California though... I hate Arizona now. I miss California... I just hate those stupid emission laws. I might have to outfit my Super Drager with a silencer or something if I move back.

  • u from san jose?

  • ho les fuck I am going to by this for may Z

  • Z1 has a used one for sale... as far as I know they were only made for 2+2's though.

  • i think your right. they would be usless on a tt anyway.

  • Actually some of the highest HP twin-turbo Z32's use a single set-up. Not sure how much it helps. These are loud as hell on NA's though.... stay tuned for a fly-by vid with test-pipes installed, Kiddo's! I have been real busy so I haven't had a chance to make any vids but I will get around to it soon....

  • that sounds hot as hell. very nice. a little on the loud side but sounds perfect. i have a borla on my z32. i'm fantasizing about having a NA z32 as a daily driver but not likely because my toyota will probably last forever. oh well. glad to see a fellow z32 lover and nice exhaust.

  • Thanks!
