I've seen all 5 parts and ave gone through all her frivolous arguments. Agree that media and judiciary have not been very successful. Agree that many people in India are poor. Agree that people have died in Kashmir and elsewhere. Everyone knows these are big problems India is facing, but how do these issues bring democracy in question is beyond me to fathom.

Indian democracy does not work. Democracy only works when there is oppurtunity for everyone, like in the United States. That is why everyone tries to migrate to America. The politicians and government and public institutions are corrupt in India. You can't get anything done in India without paying someone a brieb. Bribery is an accepted form of life. Bribery breeds injustice. I believe Ms. Roy is well intentioned, however I doubt if her words will cause any positive changes.
