I disagree totally, in regards to the dub. In my opinion, the voice actors, regardless of how good the voices themselves are, are not very good voice actors.

Personally, I like the english dub voices because they sound really original and unique but also because I heard cowboy bebop first on adult swim with the english dub.

You tend to like whatever version you hear first.

@chrisjzh thats an opinion, but I found it really strange... I mean, Ed is so much more kawaii in the japanese version. Her japanese quirks are really funny, in the english dub she sounds like a regular girl >.>.

And vicious sounds like a regular vilain, it certainly lacks originality.

@MileSnesKnight Same melody and tune, DRASTICALLY different styles, instrumentation, and interpretation. "The Egg and I" was used in the scene where Spike and Jet are looking for the ancient "Betamax Player."

You can't say that because you probably don't speak japanese. If you did which you might. Then you'd be able to understand sound of the Japanese overdub better. A decent amount of the reason being, half the dialogue from the JDub is totally different from the ADub. @chrisjzh

I thought the English dub for Bebop was way better than most dubs (which I guess isn't saying much considering most of them are just really unbearably and excruciatingly bad), but I ended up having to watch it in Japanese due to Ed's voice in the English dub. Her voice is sometimes supposed to be a little annoying, I think, but the English seiyu did her job a little too well...
