  • haha the convorsation about ear protection reminds me of when someone thought they were funny and touched of my friends .50 cal without warning me. actually bled out the ears. not fun.

  • what's with all the experts? no one gives a shit about what you can spot out that someone's doing wrong in a video...post one of yourself handling a gun and then comment.

  • @Ps2Viper87 People from other countrys might call it a clip so stop assuming everyone is from the USA.

  • @kidri0t I never said anything about anyone being from the USA!

  • @kidri0t Way to make yourself sound like a complete dumb ass btw!

  • what are you shooting at?

  • COOL

  • so now everytime one of the few people who have guns, defend themselves from an armed criminal invading him/her goes on trial and gun control freaks have a field day with it, im only 16 and realize this, that is when you know it is way over the top, look back at the 40's and 50's when all the wwII vets had their rifles and .45's there was very little crime because everyone was afraid of being shot

  • Keep reading into gun laws and support the nra and you may just be someone ! My drill sargeante in basic told me that one.

  • To bad your drill instructor didn't help you with your spelling so you could spell drill sergeant.

  • Are you actually trying to get on my case about hitting a key by accident? You try way to hard pal sargeante sargeante sargeante sargeantesargeante sargeantesargeante sargeantesargeante sargeantesargeante sargeantesargeante sargeantesargeante sargeantesargeante sargeantesargeante sargeantesargeante sargeantesargeante sargeantesargeante sargeantesargeante sargeantesargeante sargeante

  • Forget M1-Garand's. Ppl could buy fully auto Tompson Guns in that era. Plus i'm pretty sure they dont let the service men keep, let alone take their service weapons home.

Still that model 1911 .45acp is still a bad ass gun. Just shot one last week. Not good home defense gun in my opinion, to much over penetration(Unless u get some good hollows or special home def.

rounds). That way u dont shoot the burgler and then the round goes thru the wall next to ya and kills mommy.

  • good citizens should have no trouble getting guns/ammunition/hi cap mags, because if you look at the crime rates ever since major cities started making it near impossible for even exemplatory citizens to acquire weapons and ammo, the crime rates have skyrocketed, this is because criminals kno nobody has guns anymore, and they will still get theirs illegally, and good people cant protect themselves

  • lol...stripper clips.

  • When did the Glock Company make a 45 acp that shoots F/A that would be for sale anywhere ?

  • yeah standard glock 17 mags hold 17 (dur) plus 1 9mm rounds.

  • Austria... 100%.

  • Glock 17 holds 17 rounds in the mag plus 1 in the chamber.

  • There made in Austria, try and look it up on wikipedia man. You will find everything about anything there.

  • OMG.....thats ridiculous....doesn't make sense at all...AR-15 with 10 round limit too?? what a pain~!!! thx for all the information you've given me...^_^

  • haha...yeah...it is plenty....and its .45 ^o^

  • @soulecho1 its call target practicing.. do you want to have to reload every 10 seconds?

  • i have absolutely no problem with that. Annoying? yes. But in the long run, civilians simply don't need large cap mags. They're only fully justified for one purpose only: combat. wether it be in iraq or a police raid. BTW i am pro gun also. its a helluva lot harder to go on a shooting spree if you don't have multiple mags with 15+ rounds each. ya don't need em dude. just reload more so it can be that little bit safer.

  • "civilians simply don't need"

usually comes just before something bad happens.

  • well dude, you can pick little pieces of sentence and quote them in any context u like, just like a bad journalist. I have no problem with people having guns. just jell me, why do you possibly need a 100 round drum magazine or any really large mag? u don't, and if they are legal then they can be used to make mass shootings alot easier. How about you try this one "civilians simply don't need cluster bombs and land mines". Or do you think you do?

  • Why limit at all then?

  • owh...i get it now....so you mean,in california, even the Glock 17 with 16 rounds must use the 10 round mag for the post ban laws?

  • did he shoot 10 times? i thought glock 21 have 13 rounds? pls tell me if i'm wrong...

  • may be a commifornia resident

  • I always thought the bathroom stalls at the greyhound station were bad.

  • u kno this how?!?!

  • because its common sense.... sound waves will reverberate off the surrounding buildings....ever see the movie Heat? you tell me if you hear gun shots like that in movies where they are shooting out in the open...

  • that thing is sooo sweet haha

  • you can go deaf merely from bone conduction. the vibration alone rubs them together and deaf you go. hearing loss is cumalitive you might shoot alot without ears on and never notice it.. but later in life the hearing damage will add up and once you start to notice you are losing your hearing its already too late.

  • its common practace, the only prob i have ever had with my hearing was after some american fighter jets decided to bomb our convoy of apc's and killed one of my close mates even though we were displaying our uk markings so they could tell we were british, so you might also work out that i don't really like being refered to as a twat, if anything your a twat and should have more respect!

  • they should've bombed you , not that i belivie much of your story dough

  • you are from the US, of course you dont want to believe that your soldiers arent capable of distinguishing between friend and foe. Your guys should fight for the Iraqis, the war would be over by next week.

  • I have fired an m14 AK 47 ar-15 and a mosin nagant m44(all on separate occasions) without hearing protection. i can hear perfectly fine they rang for a few minutes though. when my dad was in vietnam there was a .50 machine gun going off by his head for a long time and m14's and his own m14 going off and he hears pretty well and he is 60. dg14008 that is real strange is it an overstatement? not accusing you im just asking

  • i am in the uk army and we only ever wear ear defenders on the range, exercises we have better things to be worring about, i am a support gunner and i don't have any probs with my hearing, full respect to your dad.

  • rank, name, S/N and unit.

  • don't want to give my sn but i was a lance cpl in the Royal Armoured Corps, had to leave due to ptsd a couple of months back due to the incident i was talking about. was going to try and fight my way back into the army though as i've been given the all clear by the doctors but i'm not sure i want to go through it all again. kindest reguards, james

  • if your suffereing PTSD, i would seriously consider retirement. or retraining to find a 'softer' job in the army, maybe comms/logistics. all the best, alex

  • 2098736 Cpl A. Batley 1st batallion, Yorks Reg by the way

  • I have always wondered how loud a .45 would sound in a parking garage without ear protection! you'd probably go deaf

  • when you are in the moment of defending yourself, you will not hear the shot go off because you will be full of adrenaline. Also i walked onto a firing line with .22s, 9mms, .40s, muskets, .45s, and many others without hearing protection. i got used to it quick but my dad said to put on the hearing protection.

  • So true about the ears shutting down during stress. However, if it's close enough, loud enough, or prolonged enough the ears will be damaged permanently. Better to protect the ears.

  • Well if your life's on the line, your adrenaline's pumping,Bullets are going Zooooooooooooooom, you're ducking...you shall not be worrying about how loud the Shebang is ...Indoor outdoor,it dozen matter, off course there's an exception for those calibers , like the 45acp & the 25acp,those go slower than sound Always under 300mts,so they make this cracking sound that are real dangerous for you're ears,

  • How do cops and stuff shoot the .45 so rapidly without ear protection and still be able to hear? How loud is it?

  • you are going to ask the criminal to wait so you can plug your ears than he can break into your house?

  • If the criminal is nice he will hold your gun while you get your safety equipment on. That helps a whole lot.

  • yes never fire a handgun without ear protection. did that about 4 months ago with my .45 acp and my ears are still ringing.

  • There is nothing like a .45!

  • @dg14008 3 years later, they still ringing ? lol

  • @dg14008 sounds like pussy talk to me. i did it with an m44, 40 rds, and i can still hear.

  • he would not be firing like that if he had no ear plugs believe me!

  • ok-- i guess the glasses count as eye protection, but i can't tell if he's got earplugs in or not.

  • This is the first time I shot my new GLOCK. I was running late, and I forgot my safety glasses. But I do have ear plugs in.

  • ok-- why wasn't he wearing hearing and eye protection?-- basic firearms safety--
