ah true, our front one was a weird hill shape so it was always easy going down but a pain dragging the lawnmower back up, which is why they made me to do it.. :(
Yeah, I know what you mean, I feel the same. Well, they wanted £600 a year on fixed rate which was double the amount of my last place so by switching to a meter I hope to pay just £200 - £250 pa, A huge saving.
This is bad. Really bad. You could spend 26 hours a week taking care of that garden to keep it up and not have any time for MC vlogging! Perhaps you should break out that flame thrower. At the very least, it will get rid of all the weeds (as well as everything else in its path).
I don't have much of a garden. Just grass. Well a lawn of sorts anyway.
Yeah, it can be a lot of work in the summer months but I do enjoy it. Over the last month or so I've been riding in the evenings instead and gardening during the mornings and afternoons. Much less traffic and all round more enjoyable rides.
WOW!! I think because of the climate there, you have a better variety of specimen to play with. It is very unstable in Indiana, especially this year. We have had a very mild Summer, which has supported alot of Fungus. Sloping hills for a view are exceptional real estate. Great Vid, nice "yarden", thanks for the tour.
Hi Mr C. Apart from last year, the winters over the last decade here in the UK have become significantly milder and have allowed us to support many more Mediterranean species. It wasn't that long ago that seeing a palm tree in someone's garden was almost unheard of in central England. Now they are a very common sight. I just wish I had more free time to spend in the garden.
The ironic thing is, it hasn't been hot enough here to need the AC for cooling. They are also heat pumps so which is really why they were purchased as there is no mains gas out here and didn't want to go the oil route. Yeah, the problem with gardens is you have to keep on top of them. I'd hate to think how much work a big garden would be.
Loved the tour Swipe! Thanks for showing us around, I love what you did with the front terraced area, really cleaned it up. YOu have a great selection of trees there too, it would be great to experience in the first person some day. :)
Thanks, you're welcome Mike. Was really lucky to find a garden with lots of already established trees, and most of the big ones had recently been trimmed.
nice mate - lovely lawn too

One other thing. Water meter? It rains all the time and you need to pay for water? WTF?

Hey nice garden. We are hoping to get ours established in time. I love the UK's beautiful lawns.

Thanks, I expect perfect lawns with all the damn rain we get. One consolation I suppose :)

I wished my garden looked like that. Right now it has that "untamed jungle" . I am most envious of your AC!!!!!!!!
